New iPad and none of our gazillion existing lightning cables will work. This pops on the end and charges perfectly. Little rubber ring holds it on cable so we can pop it off to charge our phones without losing it.

I recently upgraded to the new iPhone 15 pro. Since Apple discontinued the charge cable to USB C, I wanted an adapter so I did not need to buy all new charge cables. My iPad continues to require the lightning cable. This adapter is working perfectly for me. I can continue to use my existing cables. The adapter is small so it is convenient to use at home and to take with me when I travel. I can use the same lightning cable to charge my iPad. With the adapter I can easily charge my new iPhone with the same charge cable. Since the package has 2 adapters, it gives me more flexibility at home and while traveling. The price was inexpensive so that makes it even better.

Works perfectly

Using this cord to charge a MacBook Air M1 from a lightning cable from my iPhone 7. I have limited outlet use where I currently am working on my computer regularly so I bought this adapter to only use one charger. It works alright for a charger but it didn't charge quickly. It's great to keep plugged into the computer to save battery power but I haven't left it in unattended for a full battery charge. I haven't left it plugged in because this little adapter gets very hot! Not too hot to handle it but hot enough for me to have concerns about leaving it alone. Not at all like the original Apple USB-C charger that stays cool. I get that it will produce heat from the current but I've never experienced a cable that got this hot. I worry for the health of my computer in the long term if I leave it in will it fry the computer? Is it too much? I'm not that tech savvy enough to know if it's a good adapter for the use I intend it for. The reason why I bought this was because it said in the description that it is Apple MFi certified. I was told that that was what I should be looking for. For $5 I probably won't return it but I do have major concerns.

The keeper strap is a huge help to keep me from losing the adapter.
