My son recently has gotten interested in learning about war and battles and this set of gear is great for building war scenes with military figures. Lots of diffrent that look right for the time period, they also fit perfectly with regular legos and the variety makes for a really cool and interesting scene building experience. The value for the money is unmatched when compared to actually Legos, which makes this a no brainer for any military afcianados building war scenes. Very cool indeed.

Got these for my son because he has such a huge lego collection but not that many non-sword weapons for them. He is really happy with these and thinking about getting the other set for him too since its only a few dollars.

All around fun. The attachment bipod labelled "stock" broke off the sprue, so it didn't make it. Everything else is fun enough. Not sure about the mounting of the belt of ammo on the MG... knocked off a star, I couldn't get ours to mount on the left, its upside down and backwards mounted on the right on ours. I'll probably pull out a hobby cutter and notch a space on the left out of the way so it fits correctly.

There is a photo of the guns, but no instructions on how to assemble if youre not a gun expert. Theyre very realistic looking and perfect for reproduction sets.

This is a good variety of weapons, etc & they fit on my son's "miniature" Lego characters well, so make sure you understand that these are for the "MINIATURE" Lego figures, NOT the larger "Duplo" Lego characters. It's quite a comprehensive set of weapons & it goes very well with the police/SWAT "armored" vehicle I got my son as well, which came with a few miniature Lego SWAT police characters, so this added nicely to the weapons, etc that came with that police/SWAT vehicle & characters. :) Some of these items are VERY tiny, so my son keeps them in a ziploc bag so he doesn't lose any. So they AREN'T for toddlers either, or for children who are still occasionally putting things in their mouth. They're definitely for older children who have grown beyond that phase. The flag is just a sticker that you stick around the flagpole, but it works fine. The sandbags don't always stay standing up the best, depending on how they're stacked/positioned, but my son mostly uses the weapons anyways & not the sandbags so much. Overall it's a decent set that he's happy with! :)
