I got 2 of these. One for home, one for work. Or works great at home, but doesn't work right at work and I can't figure out why. I've tried everything!

Its functionality

I ordered this because my desk can get cluttered with random small items, and I was looking for a way to corral those items but keep them easily accessible. While this does what it needs to to serve that purpose, I am actually not using it nearly as much as I thought I would. I was looking forward to propping my phone up on it when I need to (I will occasionally need to refer to my phone screen for something, and it would be nice to be able to glance at my phone, then my computer monitor, etc.), but it's important to note that your phone can only lay down horizontally. The backplate that sticks up on this product is not tall enough to hold the phone in it's upright/vertical position. While I fully expected that based on the photos I saw before ordering it, I still hoped I'd be able to make it work. Assembly was incredibly quick and easy. I like that the bottom plate slides under the keyboard and out of sight. So far it's been stable enough that it doesn't lift, topple, etc when I put items in it. However, it does easily slide and move around on the surface of my desk. I'd like it if it had a bit more "grip" on my desk. While there's nothing at all wrong with this product, and I think it could serve a great purpose for people who need a raised tray like this, I personally think it's a little pricey for what it is. It's currently priced at $24.99, and I think that's about $10 more than what it should be priced at. If you are looking for a solution like this that will provide you quick access to pens, paper clips, etc - or you need a way to prop your phone up horizontally above your keyboard, you'll find this useful. But based on the price point, I'd just suggest being sure that it's something you will use and that it will suit your needs.

Well, this is one item you only know you need once you try it. Here I put my phone, markers, and pen. My keyboard is raised with this stand and feels much better. It is easy to install, has just three steps, and is ready to use. a phone fits only in a landscape position; if you try in portrait, it will fall. I have an s23 ultra and it falls when I try the portrait position.
