Cute, but a little hard to snap the pieces together

My daughter loves pandas and wanted this. While it took her awhile to actually get motivated enough to make it, afterwards she still thought that it was cute. The pieces are little bit difficult to snap together but I'm hoping that means that it will stay together well.

Not Super Easy But A Lot Of Fun!

I've never put together blocks with instructions before. It was intimidating at first, and I definitely made a lot of mistakes, but overall this panda was a satisfying and fun build! I wouldn't have sorted all the pieces by type but my husband did and it actually helped a lot to streamline the process. The tricky: 1. The blocks are teeny tiny. It takes a bit of precision and a lot of making sure you get the right ones. 2. The instructions are hard to read. In some ways, they are well done - it goes layer by layer and tells you exactly which pieces are needed which helps a lot. The tricky part is that it can be pretty difficult to see the differentiation of the pieces in the build in the instructions. I wish they were outlined better or something because I have good eyes but I was squinting a lot to see which piece went where. The helpful: 1. The instructions spell out exactly which pieces are needed which helped to decode what pieces were in certain places because sometimes I was just able to figure it out by eliminating pieces I was sure of. 2. The little tool included saved the day many times! It is a little lever that can pull apart pieces so when I did place a block a bit off (which happened many times), it made it so much easier to get it apart. Not a completely perfect set - there were a couple of maimed blocks in there - but overall a pretty satisfying set and I enjoyed it. I wouldn't recommend for young kids or those with little patience.

Adorable final product and great instructions. The pieces are tiny as the are micro brick, but fit together well and the kit includes plenty of extras just in case.
