These tools are so well made that they look professional grade. They have a great weight to them and feel very secure in your hand while raking through your pet's fur. After sweeping the rake through my dog's fur only a few times, I was able to easily remove the fluff that he had been shedding all over the place. He looks noticeably tidy, and seems to be more comfortable without the fluff warming up his body in this summer heat. The comb was helpful in removing a couple knots carefully from his fur, and straightening some of the small tangles from his beard. This set if a good value as the items perform well and seem like they will last over several years.

I do a lot of dog foster and rescue so all kinds of fur comes through my house. I've used this on both long haired dogs and short haired dogs and it gets off a lot of excess hair. But it doesn't seem to snag or hurt the dog's skin because they sit nicely and seem to enjoy it. Definitely a tool that will get much use.
