Does not work as a train

These individual pieces are cute and well-made. But since there intended to be magnetized together to form a train but because of how narrow each piece, including the wheels, is it doesnt stay upright. We constantly have to help fix the pieces upright and it gets frustrating for toddlers.

Paint is chipping a bit

My son loves these and theyre great for counting and making animal sounds together but my toddler has thrown them around a bit and theres a few intents and chips in the paint. We have fun with them still! Bright colors and decent stability.

Fun Magnetic Train Set for Learning Numbers

This animal train set is a good tool for teaching toddlers their numbers in a fun and interactive way. With some supervised play, it is also good for learning to count and the order of numbers. I have my daughter match up the train numbers in order while saying the numbers out loud and it's helped her count from 1 to 10 by herself. We also used the train cars to practice counting groups of cars. I would recommend this animal train set for parents who want to help their toddlers learn their numbers.

Cute

This is a cute item. My kiddos enjoyed playing with it but if you put all the number animals on the train, the individual cars tend to flip if they make the train go too fast. (And what kid doesnt do that?) The graphics are very cute and the mat adds a different level to playing with this. I recommend using something to stick the mat down as it slides around. The kids have fun sorting the animals according to the mat. We also use the animals to sing Old MacDonald and they put the animals in the train as we sing. Only caveat is the flipping, other than that a fun product.

My grandsons loved it but one piece did break a bit easily

My grandsons, aged 1 and 2, really loved this and it is super cute!! I knocked off a star because the one year old was sitting on one of the cars and and when I pulled it out from under him, the piece broke. I was very surprised because even though he's a chunky little monkey <3, I didn't think it should have broken. It then became a choking hazard so this concerned me. It could have been just a fluke but I would check them just in case. We didn't take them away; we just threw out the defective piece and checked the other pieces.
