This set is beautiful, and good quality. However, I was looking for something with more instruction. Ive never done embroidery before, so I was hoping for something with more step by step how to start and how to end a stitch, where to begin, what order to do the stitches in etc. I was half way through my first one before I realized I was supposed to split the thread. Anyway.beautiful, but if you are a true beginner you will need to watch some YouTube to figure out what to do!

These types of kits are some of my favorite things to do while listening to an audio book. They help me relax. These are some of my favorites, as far as kits go, too. I like the look of the wildflowers, especially the one with the cute little bee. Each of the 4 sets are individually wrapped with their own supplies and directions. Everything you need is within each kit, so they're great for sharing, if desired. I'm not a complete beginner, but I'm also not a pro. I'm still closer to beginner, though, and I understood the directions well. I think it's a nice set and I've been super happy with them.

Im a beginner to embroidery so this is coming from the perspective of someone who has zero experience and very minimal knowledge of hand sewing. This set comes with a lot of stuff, each design comes with its own hoop, needles, and thread. One thing I think this kit should include is the little threading device. I did have one in my emergency sewing kit, so I used that. It would be a pain without that though as I lost my thread multiple times through the process of stitching just a few flowers. The directions are super minimal, only explaining really basic of how each stitch type is made. But those didnt really help so I had to look up videos online to figure out the stitches. What would be helpful is a bit more direction on what to do first in each section and at times what length of thread was used, for instance on the villus stitch my flower turned out different because I had to guess the length. I stumbled my way through, which I dont mind, but it doesnt seem super beginner friendly in regards to the directions. A part from the directions I LOVE this set, I love the designs, I love that some of the stitches seem to be really unique and not common as I couldnt even find directions for one of the stitches online villus stitch. Thats kind of exciting because I feel like Im learning special stitches. Also once you get the hang of some common stitches the process becomes a lot easier. I would suggest starting with the design that I showed in my photo. That one has the least amount of different stitches in the design, so if you are a beginner maybe start with that one and then move onto the more complex ones. It is really helpful that the designs are stamped onto the cloth though! I couldn't figure it out without that i think! Overall I am really loving embroidery and Im glad I went with this kit to practice and learn from. Each thread so far hasnt run out and I have leftover threads even after completing that color section. So I think Ill even have additional thread after this to play with later on. Plus you have extra needles and 3 hoops that you can re-use. Beautiful set that Im happy with!
