My son loves it?

One of the things I like is the case that these come in. It lays out the entire metal pencil set and lead in a neat and orderly way. I also like the 5 different pencil lead sizes including color for the 2.0 (AKA #2) pencil. I find when Im doing working I typical use a 0.5 or a 0.7, but I often pull out a 0.9 which makes a thicker line that I can see better and doesnt break as easily. Somewhere in my shop must be more than a dozen cheap plastic mechanical pencils. With this set in a case I can keep all of them together on a shelf and easily find them. This is a nice mechanical pencil set.

I just got this set and I'm already impressed. For under $10, the value is absolutely fantastic5 pencils, a variety of lead sizes, including a pack of colored leads, and eraser refills are all included. If you're on a budgetor just love great valuebut won't compromise on quality, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better deal. The weight and balance of these pencils feel really nice in hand, which is ideal for fatigue-free writing and drawing. Far from feeling cheap, these pencils actually feel very high-end. The metal seems to be of high quality, and the grip is comfortable for extended use. Loading the pencils with lead was easy, and so far, they write smoothly without any issues. The HB lead is nice too; it's neither too hard nor too soft, providing a smooth experience and a dark line without excess smudging. Even if you have a preference for a different type of lead, the sheer value of this set makes it worth the purchase. Though I haven't used them for an extended period yet, my first impressions are highly positive. I think some people may be getting new pencils for Christmas. Highly recommended.

I appreciated the collection on lead sizes. The pencils seemed durable but time will tell. The colored lead for the 2mm pencil is a nice add. Nice set for the price.
