Jax dog chewed it up. I bought it to replace the one I spilled super glue on.. He said it was wonderful puppy fun to chew up.

My favorite feature of this keyboard is the touchpad. It's on the side of the keyboard, and it has extra gesture functionality. The first is important because I'm repeatedly frustrated by accidentally brushing against the touchpad on my laptop while typing, which moves me off where I'm typing. The second is important because it adds gestures such as zoom and application switching that my laptop touchpad does not support (there are other ways to perform the actions, but not by using simple gestures). My least favorite feature of the keyboard so far is that the keys are slightly smaller and closer together than those on my laptop or on the external keyboard that I prefer to use on my desktop PC (which I believe is a standard size, or was when there was such a thing). There are dimples on the F & J keys where expected so I can type without constantly looking down at the keyboard to reposition, but not as fast as I could if the keys were more spread out. To compare them I've added pictures showing the keyboard next to the laptop and desktop external keyboards. I've also added a picture which shows the adapter because personally I did not know where to find it because although I looked and found the batteries I did not notice the adapter which is right next to them. It worked using the included adapter with Windows 10 on a Dell Optiplex 780 desktop, and with Debian 12 Linux running on that same Dell Optiplex 780 desktop, and with Debian 12 Linux on a Toshiba Satellite laptop. It also worked with Android 10 on my ZTE Avid 579 phone, and I was able to switch back and forth between the laptop and the phone by pressing the buttons at the top left of this keyboard (after I finally realized that I had to LONG press the 2nd button to establish a connection first).

This keyboard and touchpad combo is great to have for a media PC or any time you want to be able to control your computer from across the room, while also only having to carry a single item. In that respect, it works better than a separate keyboard and mouse. However, it is a bit tricky to type on, and they keys don't feel the best. Additionally, I have noticed some connection issues, with some keystrokes, mouse cursor movements, and mouse button clicks not registering. I am not sure if is an issue with the device itself, though, or if the included batteries are running low or something, but I haven't seen any indication of the latter. Other than that, though, it does seem to work quite well and is handy to have.

The 2.4G connection to a Win 11 laptop was instantaneous. Then a bluetooth connect to an Android 13 tablet was likewise... To test its memory I turned it off and removed the batteries for a few minutes. It remembered the bluetooth connection. There may be a capacitor which can provide a little short-term power for memory, but it's enough to know I can change batteries without losing anything. As for disposables, many little things here... timers, flashlights.... run on rechargeable AA and AAA NiMHs so it's no bother. Not a big fan of touchscreens (or Android), and I was most interested in giving this 10" tablet an actual keyboard, one as portable as itself. All these keys function properly. I like this "Home" button which returns to the desktop.. I use the tablet with a microscope and the "Screenshot" button will come in handy. Brightness, volume, lots of others save me the trouble of searching menus. Arrow keys do something on most Android menus... I kinda hate Android and love anything that makes it easier. There's a disable-trackpad button. I have another, similar k/board w/trackpad, and often wish I could disable its touchpad. Sometimes just being near it will send the mouse cursor to parts unknown while I'm typing. And it took me months to become somewhat comfortable with its key-action, so I expect the same will be true of this new k/b, and won't judge it just yet.. Thus far it fits my needs perfectly... except for one thing. I want backlight. Or front-light. I think I can glue an LED someplace. Then I can type in the dark.

It's easier to "thumb type" on a Rii keyboard than it is to type on this. This may have bigger keys, but they are too small for touchtyping. It would be ok for TV use, but, if that's your application then you would be better off getting one of the Rii keyboards that are smaller and easier to handle. If you have small hands, then this may work for you.
