These dishcloths, which arent really made of cloth, are an acquired taste, for sure. These are extraordinarily thin metal sheets shaped into squares, and framed by a softer synthetic material which acts as a hem. Using these is similar to using a steel wool pad, but only if that pad were on a very strict diet. They do work, sort of, for cleaning up light messes. But they are rather porous and whatever cleaning solution youre using will travel right through the holes in the sheet. And youll need to use a lot of elbow grease here, as the thin metal is really only effective in removing surface messes; this is definitely not for baked on stubborn goo. They dont appear to harm most surfaces, but Id suggest a test run on a small out of the way portion of whatever youre cleaning before fully utilizing. They suggest using these to scrub vegetables and that may be where these metal sheets truly shine. They are easy to clean, that much is true, but the overall experience of using them is downright odd. They also suggest hanging these on a wall and I dont know how they expect us to do that there is no ring or loop to accommodate that!

These dishwashing rags are decent. They do a good job of cleaning the tough stains that I deal with after cooking. I used them to clean foods that were on my nonstick pots and pans and I didn't notice any scratches or peeling coming using them. I also used one of them to get rid of hard-to-remove foods that were on my cast iron skillet and it did a great job at removing what was on it but that rag remained dark and dirty looking and I'm not sure if I could shake it back to its original state.

I got these because I wanted something with a little grit to clean oven grates of "baked on oils". I've got to say that these did a great job at that. It was easy to clean each of the wires one by one. These are thin enough that I could feel when there was still something stuck and was able to tell when they were clean. They have the ability to scape things clean without harming my hands. I haven't tried them to clean potatoes yet, but will the next time we need some cleaned. The washcloth is easy to rinse and I see no reason I can't toss it in the washer with all the other rags if it ever gets really dirty. At this price, just try them, you'll like them.
