I've been purchasing these for at least a couple years now. They are pricey but so are all the other companies. Biggest difference with this company is the consistency of quality, size and the biggest pro is they don't stink. So many of the others I've tried smell terrible. Best quality is my dog loves them and he's worth every penny.

I've been buying these bully sticks for my 70 lb GDS/lab mix for two years and for the first 18 months I would have given them 5 stars. However the last three orders have not been up to the usual quality. Most of the sticks are so much thinner they won't even stay in my dog's chew stick holder. I thought at first it was just a fluke, but after the 3rd package of expensive mostly pencil-thin sticks, I'm done. They are also not as odor-free as they used to be, but I could overlook that if they weren't so thin now. My dog finishes these in about 5 minutes and used to chew on one for at least 20-25 minutes. Now I'm looking for another brand which makes me (and my dog) sad, especially after recommending Natural Farm bullies to many friends and my Facebook dog groups over the last two years. [Edit: Update, tried another brand of bully sticks but my dog wanted no part of them, so I went back to NF this week to try again, hoping the previous recent orders were just a fluke. This time I got the 12" one lb pack and they were great! I always cut the 12" sticks in half (easy to do with branch loppers) and she gets one 6" half each day in her bully stick holder. There were 10 sticks in this package and only one was thin. All the others were perfect size for her holder and she was a happy pup again! No odor at all so I was happy too. Hoping the quality issue has been corrected and I can count on these bully sticks again. Because of the improvement in my new order I edited my review and upped the star rating from two to four. If future orders continue to be high quality I'll come back and give it a five star!

Although these are pricey, in comparison to other treats, my 3 pibbles always enjoy them. Ive tried others, and always come back to these. Paying less is tempting, but when the bag sits bc no one wants them, theres definitely no $$ saved! I wish this company sold in bigger bulk, bc with 3 dogs I could go broke buying these. *Hint, Hint to the company!!* Ive never noticed a bad smell, or any kind of staining, like some cheaper ones have. They dont crumble or come apart either. This only applies to my experience with the bully sticks! Some of the other wrapped ones have had pieces that are to big to swallow, and pulling out a wet hunk of yuck from the back of a dogs throat bc they are choking is no fun. If the company is listening, how about a bigger bag with a discount?? For those of us multi dog owners

I have tried 4 or 5 different brands of bully sticks and have found these to be the best quality and the best value. Bully sticks are expensive but they are the only good option for me because my guy doesn't really care much for any other of the longer lasting chews, and his allergies also put limitations on our choices. I have a fairly large Yorkie that is a very aggressive chewer. I order the largest b-sticks I can find because he can go thru even a medium 12" stick in less than a day; the large ones will last 2 or 3 but I have to take them away once they get under about 3" because he will just swallow them at that point and throw them up. The other brands "large" size that I have tried are about the size of NF medium, which probably explains why they might be a few $ cheaper. Our vet says that we should keep up whatever we are doing to take care of his teeth cuz his look awesome; but we don't brush his teeth and other than his prescription food these are about the only thing he gets. We have never noticed any odors with this product and have been satisfied with every order placed (about 6X now). I wish they were cheaper but he loves them and if they are helping with keeping his teeth and gums healthy they are a bargain. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure as they say.

After reviewing all the HORROR photos of bits and pieces, "sweepings", hanger wires, strings, etc in these various companies' 1-2 lb "value" bags of BULLY STICK PIECES, I went with "NATURAL FARM" "2-3 inch small bully sticks 1LB Value Pack". At first I thought I was getting "overcharged" for only ONE pound while other companies offered TWO pounds for a comparable price. AND the word "SMALL" concerned me that these would be SMALL bully sticks - you know - PENCILS - probably hollow pencils at that - NOT SO! I went with them because they have their own production facilities, state they oversee every step of production and I was SO pleased with their 3 inch trachea pieces - beyond compare. SO - I hit "buy now" for Natural Farm's version. WOW - was I beyond pleased. FIRST - SIZE. I laid out all the pieces. They are not little nubs, tips or scraps. In fact, only 9 fell into the 2" size range. 27 measured in the 2-3 inch range (leaning closer to three inches) and 18 in the 3-4 inch range. SECOND - SHAPE. Photos of other brands (even Best Bully) showed pointy "ends" and "ringed" segments and segements with apparently the hanging wires used in drying. In other words - SCRAPS that should be ground up to make bully chips or coat "kabobs"! NOT THESE! These all look like PREMIUM, PREMIUM, PREMIUM bully sticks after being sawed to "size" and these are the extra inches. NOT THE FLOOR SWEEPINGS that couldn't be sold as PREMIUM bully sticks. The ends of each stick show the evidence of slight "shredding" from being sawed AFTER DRYING - in otherwords - to "cut to size" - not floor sweepings. WOW is all I can say. So I'll say it again: WOW! ! ! THIRD - HOLLOW vs SOLID - NONE of these sticks are hollow. They are all "FULL" - if you purchase bully sticks you will know what that means. SOLID sticks! And none of the sticks are "wrinkled" like a dehydrated "gullet stick". These are HARD, SOLID, "PLUMP", EXACTLY what you hope for. FOURTH - DIAMETER. Are these pencil bullies? NO WAY! 1 was what I would call a pencil bully stick (but not hollow) - in the 3-4 inch pile. The rest were the PREMIUM bully sticks you pay EXHORBITANT prices for. In addition, 7 of the 2-3 inchers were those extra wide, "JUMBO WIDTH" and "JUMBO THICKNESS" bullies and 2 of the 3-4 inchers fell into that category. 4 of the 2 inchers were the jumbos. FIFTH - QUALITY - These are all UNIFORM in quality and range from light tan to darker brown in color. None are "shrivelled" or hollow. None smell. All are HARD, SOLID, the most premium and beyond quality standards I have ever seen. Again, the only way I can describe these is PREMIUM and some JUMBO bully sticks cut to size and these are the extra inches left over. SIXTH - "FLAVOR" - let's face it - no matter how much I think I got a good deal by "looks", if my dog doesn't like them, they were a waste of money. THEY MUST SMELL AND TASTE GREAT because my dog goes CRAZY when I handle the bag and drops whatever chew he is working on to work on one of these until his jaw muscles are exhausted. The "SMELL" I am referring to is not a human detectable odor, but one that only dogs detect. To me, they are ODORLESS and CLEAN. They are not odorless to my dog. GREAT! BOTTOM LINE - These are NOT SNACKS (like a gullet stick) and NOT SCRAPS. These are over the top quality HARD, SOLID, PREMIUM bully sticks. In my opinion and according to appearances, they are the pieces left ater PREMIUM and JUMBO bully sticks were cut to a precise length (6 or 12 inches) and which couldn't be sold due to length. These are NOT SCRAPS!!! If you have a dog that length will not matter to, these are the VALUE PACK they are represented to be. I have a MinPin service dog. A 6 inch bully stick is about a week's worth of chewing (along with alternating between other chews like Lambzearz (2-4 day chew) and Natural Farm Beef Trachea 3" pieces (2 day chew). It's not that my dog couldn't eat the chews faster, it's that they are SO HARD they take that long to chew and rest and return. THAT is value. Even if your dog is "big" and you are considering a "value pack" of "small pieces" - THIS IS THE PACK!!!! AWESOME. PROS - I received clean, long-lasting shorter PREMIUM and JUMBO bullies to take with me or use at home - these are PERFECT size even great for the car crate. AND - most important - my dog LOVES THEM. CONS - NONE!!!! I will definitely buy this value pack again when I run out. I am happy with these and the 3" trachea from NATURAL FARM as well. The only CON is - CHEWY.com doesn't carry any NATURAL FARM products. I hope this review was helpful. AND I HOPE NATURAL FARM MAKES SURE THIS REVIEW REMAINS ACCURATE. Keep up the great products!!!!
