Exactly what I was hoping for.

Delightfully delicate and surprisingly durable. The shades are wonderful! Fibers run through the paper, but I haven't had it actually impact a fold. The only pattern I've found difficult is one that requires multiple push and inversion folds, so the rigidity of typical paper helps in that aspect (I'm pretty sure a more skilled folder would not have this same issue).

Terrific for Origami

Wow, did not expect to love it so much for origami. I am relatively new to folding, and generally people recommend kami. Theres a lot of origami advice online that mentions mulberry paper, but caution that folding is not easy with it. I wanted to try it out anyway, because I was getting kind of bored with the typical solid color papers. The price was right for this small pack. And it was like butter. Hard to explain- youd think the paper would not fold well, because it is so soft and almost fabric-like. Yet the creases hold easily, while at the same time if you need to adjust a fold, the paper is quite forgiving. Just ordered larger paper from the same company. Suppose results could be different in the 8x8 format, and maybe designs need to be small and simple for the good results, but for now, loving it. Edit add: The 8x8 from same co were not identical, not as pretty, and too flimsy for origami. They were not just larger in size, but thinner and softer. :(
