After listening to a podcast about how many harmful ingredients are in all of our cleaning products, I decided it was time to throw it all out and switch to clean, natural products. Because these are made with all natural products, I feel better knowing it's better for my body and the environment. I find these are just as easy to use as my soap dispenser. Using a wet sponge, I just rub the soap across it a few times and wah la . . . I can scrub my dishes clean in no time. They're great on greasy pans too. We travel in the summertime, so I will definitely be packing a bar on future trips.

This dish soap works great. I have never used bar soap for dishes, but I kind of like it. It cleans very well. And I really like the minimal packaging.

Never knew they made soap bars for dishes but I like sustainable and all natural products so I wanted to try this product. There are two bars in the box. The directions say "to rub the bar on a soaked scrubber in water" and then wash dishes. I used a sponge and to my surprise, it lathered right up. Washed a roasting pan and it removed the grease and stuck on food. The glasses sparkled after washing and my hands felt soft instead of dry and needing hand cream. I am happy that this is an all natural product so my family is not exposed to harmful chemicals. It says it can be used to wash fruits and veggies even. Since my bars had no scent, I will try it on my carrots after harvesting. The only thing I would change is pack it with a net bag to hang the bar for drying or a soap dish to place it on.

These bars of dish soap are an interesting change to the plastic bottles filled with liquid, and though it's an adjustment to get accustomed to, I like them. I use these bars with a scrubbing cloth, and the soap gives enough residue to clean the dishes of grease and oils, and other contaminants well. The soap doesn't make much foam, and is easy to rinse off from the dishes. These bars do not get soft and jelly-like, and they dry quickly. The scent is very nice, and the soap is even effective at cleaning tea stains from steel and plastic cups. These even cleaned up cooked-on gunk from bacon on my steel pans, and they're gentle on the seasoning of my cast iron pans. I have yet to come across anything that this soap won't clean on my dishes. They are also very gentle on my hands- I rarely wear dish gloves and hand wash most of my dishes, and these do not dry out my skin or make it itch like some soaps will. These soap bars are excellent for travel and camping, since they're easy to use and won't leak and make a mess. They don't use plastic for the packaging, and they take up very little space. I'm quite pleased with these dish soap bars, and am now using one instead of liquid soap.
