I've been wanting one of these for years - particularly a horse hair one which is far less damaging than others with synthetic brushes. With grandchildren, messy cooks (and me, a messy baker,) and vintage tablecloths to protect, it's exacly what I needed for a quick easy clean up! And that it does!

I make sourdough and with that comes lots of dust and crumbs on my counter. I love this little thing because I can get the worst of it up before cleaning the counter. The brush is actually magnetized so it is connected to the dustpan. The dustpan is metal so I put a magnet on my fridge and this set hangs perfectly on the side of my fridge. Its a great little tool!

I use this little brush to clean off the baking stone in my oven. It's also useful for getting dry crumbs, flour, sugar, etc., off of the counter without making a wet or damp mess. It's also just small enough to rest vertically on the " counter edge along the back of my counter. The magnet handily keeps the brush inside the tray.

I bought this to keep my woodworking workbench clean of sawdust. However when it arrived my wife opened it and immediately remarked just how beautifully made it was and wanted one just like it for her Montessori classroom! When I took it to the workbench the horse hair dealt with dust of all sizes very efficiently and effortlessly, even removing fine dust off rubberized handles on my tools! The black, coated metal pan is smooth to the touch and its edge meets the table top perfectly flush, with zero warping or any annoying bends or gaps. The wood components make both components a pleasure to handle and their magnets snap the brush back into its cradle inside the dust pan with a smooth, reassuring snap. It's kind of crazy to get so much pleasure from such a mundane object but when something is well made, that is what happens! I plan to report back after a while to see how it handles wear and tear. However, my guess it that it will last a long time. I highly recommend getting this for your dining table top, kitchen counters, or for the garage work benches.
