Doesn't work with my Car which I bought it for and sound quality is very very low and decent at best. Piece of crap and waste of money.

For Audi owners, read next paragraph. All others, skip ahead to the second paragraph: Originally bought this for my 2009 AUDI A4 Avant using Galaxy S3, but does not work. Not NAXA Electronics fault at all.. it is Audi's fault. They will get a scathing letter from me. If you are an Audi owner and searching for a way to not just get phone BT on the car, you'd like to also connect your music via BT too. Well, if you've done the research, older Audis don't have this feature.. just BT for phone. I've read on several threads that if one has a vag-com cable, one can hack the car's computer system (MMI/AMI), do a little tinker on the sub-menus, then a simple BT dongle such as this can work. Unfortunately, if I did that, my warranty would become invalid. I've seen the GROM unit work for folks on youtube, and I did call a look car audi store (the owner has 2 Audis himself and can vouch for the GROM unit), but I didn't want to pay $300 for the part plus installation.. he even thought this was ridiculous, so he said find an AMI cable with a 3.5mm jack and it would work, and it was cheaper. Down side, it doesn't connect via the micro-usb which means I can't control the music from my head unit.. I'd have to manually control through the phone and if I get caught holding a phone while in the car, that's a major fine. I did do this conversion, but I just leave it on one station, such as Pandora and I don't dare touch my phone, even if I wanna skip ahead. Also sucks because I can only have one device at a time. If I wanted to listen to my ipod, I'd have to disconnect the AMI cable with 3.5mm jack, and put back the OEM AMI cable with my ipod already attached. I would like to make a formal complaint to Audi and I hope some of you do as well. There has to be some sort of firmware update they can do, with a Pandora app, and other neat stuff like that. Hell, even my gf's old 2011 can play multiple devices and media. Hell, my old civic with an aftermarket Pioneer 7" touchscreen head unit did a ton of stuff. Now, if you're gonna say, "Well, go back to Honda" I say "screw you and that idea." Audi should be a leader not just in car performance, but in luxury, such as our listening pleasure. Even the 2014 Volvos are just putting those apps into their units. Anyway, if you've gotten to this point in this rant/review, you're awesome. BTW, I might get the GROM unit when I have money to spare, and if you're wondering that this too would void the warranty, a certain friend that works at a major luxury car dealership said that if it's done cleanly by an outside shop and doesn't interfere with any of the systems, I should be fine, BUT if it does, have them remove the unit and put everything back to where it was and take it into a dealer to get the codes that were set off erased and just play dumb, which isn't hard for me. This is a chance I'm willing to take... I NEED MY JAWAIIAN MUSIC AND OTHER ISLAND MUSIC! ALL OTHERS REVIEW: Works great. Binds fast... I have it on an Altec Lansing stereo unit. I did try the NAXA on my Sony theater system via the usb/30 pin connector on the front of the stereo, but it didn't work for some reason. I'll have to look into that more, but for now, I'm happy with it where it is and it sounds amazing. Use it for home, not for Audis. Not sure about other cars.

To any e looking to add this to a vehicle dock, this did not work on the 30 pin connector on a 2009 Audi A4 Cabriolet. The Symphony system in the 09 Cab carries over from the 2008 model. It is incompatible because the Symphony needs a "handshake" from the phone in order for the phone to be discovered. The BT connection does not allow for that handshake. Any other vehicle with a similar system will have the same compatibility issue. I currently use a 30 pin to lightning adapter which requires me to place my phone in the glove compartment. It doesn't charge the phone because the Audi has the old FireWire charging via 30 pin while the adapter only has power connections at the USB pins. I just bought a 30 pin extension cable to at least get the phone out of the glove compartment. If that doesn't work, it looks like I'll be spending $130 at Enfig.com for their kit that adds a 30 pin wire with a harness in the back of the head unit. It is not ideal because there will be a cable just flopping around the interior and I'll still need to use the 30 pin to LTG adapter. The big cable end and adapter combination will be hard to stow out of sight. Good luck to anyone trying this in a vehicle. I hope the information helps. I gave three stars because the literature claims it works with any 30 pin connection.

Using this in my car to stream bluetooth from my phone through my car stereo system. Works great for streaming music and audio books. Does not work for cell phone calls - that would have been a bonus!!

This device works and the sound is great. However when I plugged it in via the i-pod port it quickly heated up and started to have a burning smell. I tried to contact Naxa support, but thus far have been ignored by them. I continue to use the device with it's head-phone jack, but I have to manually charge it. Additionally it does not automatically re-sync with my phone (Galaxy Note II) when in range. I have to turn off the device and turn it back on.
