Great product. If you are using for a mirrorless camera it may not be sturdy enough

The media could not be loaded. Bought this to use for some really cool shots and I was not disappointed. The arm is extremely easy to use, and screwed into my small rig cage. Its also very easy to manipulate and adjust. The material feels solid and strong, and when tightened all the way it holds its shape very well. I would be aware of the minimal focal length of your lens before purchasing this (If your wanting this type of shot) as some lenses might require you to have a longer arm, or in my case purchase two and connect them via a 1/4 inch adapter. Another important thing to keep in mind is the grip at the end of the arm. Not sure if the exact size but its not useful for any medium to large circular objects (ex. Fits the neck of a beer bottle but not the bottle itself) but works great for everything else! In conclusion this is a very useful and versatile, and can be use for shots such as this, or just to hold a monitor, light, or anything with a 1/4 thread. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for some good and useful equipment! (Example footage attached to review)

Very nice. I bought 4 because they were cheap and came with a super clamp. Cheap isn't the correct description. Because they are affordable. There's nothing cheap about these. Good, heavy and quality are the words that come to mind. I'm building my own version of a multiple suction cup car mount. It's over built at about half the price of top end setups. These are way better than I expected. I can't wait to put them to use!

The process of finding something to hold my extremely lightweight 10.3 e-ink monitor was a surprising challenge. Its equipped with 50mm VESA mount holes, but very few VESA products are actually that size, so we drilled some holes in a thick piece of plastic to make a 50mm-VESA-to-camera-screw-hole adapter, which fits this mount perfectly. I was originally using a phone stand arm clamped to a nearby shelf, but the look was really messy and bulky, the tablet clamp came over the edges of my screen, which was distracting, and it wasnt stable at all, drooping under <2lbs strain, particularly when clipped to a vertical surface. I needed something different when I switched everything to pole-mount (dealing with a small space here!). This mount arm is fantastic. It holds my monitor perfectly without getting in the way at all, and its significantly less expensive than many much worse tablet holders on the market (or I guess, things that can hold tablets if you set your mind to its). Its so small & lightweight that you wouldnt expect it to be so sturdy, but it could easily hold much more weight than Im asking it to. It has teeth at the joints to prevent it from drooping, which isnt something Ive seen before. That addition makes it feel really stable, but because it needs to be loosened in order to readjust, quick adjustments are harder to make. But once its tightened into the right position, the ball head has just the right amount of tolerance to tilt around based on my viewing angle without having to unscrew anything. It will not move at all if its not being actively adjusted aka, zero potential of slump/droop. The pole mount c-clamp is great strong and versatile. The jaws open wide enough to handle anything from a tripod leg to a thick countertop or railing, and screws shut all the way. Note: I dont believe the tips of the c-clamp come pre-padded, so if you are planning to clamp this to a wooden surface, you may want to stick a washcloth or foam in between. Then again, you dont have to tighten it too much to get it to stay put. In spite of my unconventional use-case, Im very impressed with this mount overall, and it looks much cleaner than my last one. I would 100% purchase another if I wanted to mount my Blue Yeti Nano mic or my phone (of course now that Im thinking of it, Im tempted to do the latter if I can find a MagSafe phone holder with a universal camera screw!) Highly recommend.

works good except depending on the angle it can unscrew itself by gravity. For example the lobster screw doesn't lock in and has no lock washer so it can unscrew itself if you have it angled in an unfortunate way. The true superclamp system from manfrotto has bolt that locks itself from twisting.
