Great attachment for off camera flashes

I have used this attachment to mount off camera flashes on strobe. It is a great attachment for those lights which don't have adjustable lever for projecting the light at correct angle. The bracket can swivel to mount the light correctly and fits most of the strobe stands. It is particularly useful for adjusting those lights which have poor quality or a broken lever.

Fantastic, well made and versatile, but.

But the QC inspector missed a sharp little machining burr on the screw lock pin. Unfortunately, my thumb found it before my eyes did. Bottom line is if the product makes me bleed, even just a little as in this case, Im going to deduct a star. Actually, of all the Neewer gear Ive reviewed in the past, I believe this is the first time I didnt give 5 stars. Ive always found their products to be very well made and priced very reasonable, this product included. That being said, this is a great addition to my gear. So versatile and well made. It is rock solid. As the photo depicts, I put a cold shoe on it and easily mounted my flash unit. Though its listed as a flash bracket mount and a umbrella holder, it is actually so much more versatile. I anticipate using this piece of gear for many situations for many years. In spite of the QC issue with this particular item, it will not deter me from obtaining Neewer gear in the future. I still love their products. Also, a small file made fast work of the burr.
