Works perfectly

Perfect fit with my Sony A7r IV and some old glass from 1964 with M42 screw mounts. As another reviewer noted, you'll need a fine flathead screwdriver to adjust the orientation, but once properly rotated for your camera, you are all set. Works great.

Works great. Aperature marks can be adjusted with set screws on the adapter.

Worked great for my old Meyer-Optik lens on my Sony A7R IV. I ordered two more to use on two other M42 lenses I just ordered on a popular online auction site:) Fun to play around with old lenses on new cameras. There are four small straight-slot set screws you can loosen with a jeweler screwdriver so that you can rotate your lens to keep the aperture markings on top. Another reviewer complained about the aperture markings ending up on bottom of lens - must not have noticed the set screws. I can't think of a reason to buy a more expensive adapter. Just buy one of these for each M42 lens you want to adapt to E-mount.

adapter fits my M42 to my alpha 7 so well. very nicely made and easy to put on with the smooth threading, goes on completely and I can still focus with it on. considering the sony mount I saw is almost ten times as much as this, you surely get a well worth it bargain. save your money & get this!
