A Useful Photography and Video Accessory

I keep this Neewer Super Clamp in one of my camera bags as a versatile tool for mounting cameras, lights and microphones to a wide variety of objects. It comes with a dual ballhead magic arm with two pivoting ballheads. It also includes a mountable cold shoe. Super useful and well made. Recommended.

Tried using on snowmobile number and GoPro kept moving couldnt tighten enough

Quality Made Hefty Product With Limitations

This Neewer Super Clamp for camera mounting tasks is another heavy quality product that weve come to expect from this manufacturer of photography accessories. The clamp is quite hefty. I dont expect any breakage with this item: all components are metal and the clamp appears to be generally well-designed for its intended usage. My primary use of the clamp is for mounting my Akaso Brave action camera to the frame of zero turn mowers, using the recordings to demonstrate how well the mowers function. Unfortunately, I discovered that the clamp does not hold securely to the 2 square painted steel surface of the rollover protection bar. Although the clamp comes with rubberized pads on the inside of the jaws of the clamp, these pads do not grip the painted steel surface securely enough to safely hold/mount my action camera. The clamp would repeatedly gradually slip off every time I attempted to tighten it down to the rollover bar. As a result, I was required to find some other point on the mower to use the clamp (see photos). I would encourage Neewer to investigate this attempted application of the clamp to determine if some adjustment in manufacture of the clamp might be indicated. For now, I am intending to keep the clamp and continue to attempt to work around this mounting issue. I can certainly recommend this clamp for its quality of manufacture.

Beautiful, versatile clamp

I'm super happy with this product. It is well built, and for the money, it's a great addition to my kit. It expands the usefulness of C-stands and light stands and whatever else you're working with. It seems strong enough to hold anything I would attach to it, although I probably won't use it to mount a DSLR or video camera. All in all, this is a solid purchase.
