It works, but it's subtly but unmistakably a knock-off

The keyboard works and generally replicates the Thinkpad keyboard feel well, which is no small feat. Unfortunately, there are some issues. The most important one is flex in the metal backing plate. Compared to the LiteOn original, the backing plate is much thinner and flimsier, with correspondingly a lot more flex and movement when typing. The rest of the issues are minor. The mouse buttons have less tactile click feedback than the LiteOn. Some of the lettering printed on the keys is too narrow. The dimensions of the trim piece on top of the volume and power keys are a bit off, which make it not interchangeable with the original piece. But it gets the job done. As others have said: you get what you pay for with this one.

Great replacement for OEM keyboard

Not a whole lot to say here. The fit, look and feel is just about identical to the original T420s keyboard. At this price I'll probably buy a backup just in case this doesn't last. But I don't see why it wouldn't last longer than the Lenovo one that progressively lost key functionality (I've never seen that happen on any keyboard before this laptop). Installation was way faster and easier than I was expecting (watch a video). Buy with confidence.

Inexpensive and great keyboard

The keyboard fits perfectly, the keys feel almost exactly like the original that came with the laptop. Installation is a breeze. I'll update my review after six months of uses on this keyboard. Aside from the white dot being a little off center (pic 3), than the oem (pic 4), and the ZeeBooth driver delivered to the wrong address, everything is almost perfect. Very happy with the purchase.

My laptop is like new again!

I ordered this keyboard because I spilled liquid on my laptop and in trying to carefully remove some keys to get to the liquid, I destroyed the original keyboard. Meanwhile, I opened my laptop and let it dry for a couple of weeks and I ordered this replacement keyboard. It arrived very quickly and when I was ready I watched a video from Youtube that helped me install it. I was so excited when my laptop came back from the dead and it continues to work like a charm several months later! This keyboard feels like the original and looks like it too. So far, no fading on the keys. I'm happy!
