This palette is really nice. It is lightweight yet nicely rigid. It is comfortable to hold whether standing or seated. I typically use acrylics on 16x20 canvas and the mixing area has been quite adequate for my needs. The big question though, is it really that easy to clean? I'd say yes; with certain qualifiers. If the paint has not dried completely, simply using a damp paper towel is all that's needed. If piles of paint have dried completely, they do peel off fairly easily. The surface does not discolor of stain. The one issue that can require just a bit more work is if the paint has dried completely in thin smears. DO NOT use any kind of metal palette knife or scraper; the surface of the palette can be scratched (normal, light use of a metal palette knife to mix colors is not not a problem). Don't ask me how I know. I've found that the inexpensive plastic scrapers you'd use on cast iron or non-stick cookware seem to work very well in removing all traces of dried paint. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. In no way a criticism of this product, and only as a footnote, I'd just add that since acrylics dry so fast, if I'm working slowly or doing a project that is going to take more than one session, I will use a homemade wet palette in order to save paint and avoid having to re-mixing colors. July 20, 2023 Almost 3 months of use and I continue to enjoy using this palette. It continues to be extemely easy to clean thoroughly and with the exception of very few (almost imperceptible) scratches, still looks almost brand new. As stated in my original review, I find that it is best suited for quick projects where I won't have to save paint mixtures for future use. May 14, 2024 - One Year Update After a year of moderate use, this palette still looks almost brand new with virtually no scratches, discoloration or oblemishes of any kind. I was initially obsessed with cleaning it almost immediately after each use but I've found that to be entirely unnecessary. I've let it sit for weeks through multiple uses; layer upon layer, and it remains remarkably easy to clean. Large areas of acrylic really do just peel off and it is actually sort of fun to see how large a piece I can remove. As I mentioned in my earlier review, metal tools must be avoided (and really are not needed). I moved away from silicone scrapers (too thick) and found that if a small amount of scraping is ever needed, the edge of a credit card really works well. A quick final wipe with a damp microfiber cloth to pick up any remaning particles and you're good to go. The size, weight, comfort and ease of cleaning make this one of my best art supply purchases.

I have always used wooden palettes but I wanted something easier to clean. This one is amazing! The size is perfect for me I can mix paints with ease and it cleans up with a little soap and water the paint just lifts off. I would highly recommend!

Unsure whether to give 3 stars. They should mention that their paper is coated on the wrong side for a right handed person who may want to use this with oils. A bit disappointing. Otherwise, high quality.

I was concerned that this was air tight enough to hold my atelier acrylics for an extended time. It works! It's compact!
