This is a really nice set at a great price. The colors are pretty, and the quality is excellent. They have 0.7 / 0.5 and a mix of both. Also, I noticed there are other colors/styles of pencils available from this company. They seem sturdy and the let stays in the tip nicely without constantly breaking. I would purchase again and get one of their other sets. We use pencils a lot and it is nice to have higher quality mechanical pencils around. My daughter loves the erasers it came with and took them all right away for her drawings. Overall, great set for the price.

When you don't need to be writing in ink, using mechanical pencils with thin 0.5mm leads is very rewarding because it produces nice sharp lines--and you never need to sharpen! This is a beautifully-made set, with three metal mechanical drafting pencils plus boxes filled with 360 HB and 120 2B leads. Each pencil already has a lead or two in it, plus an under-cap eraser, but there are also nine refills for those built-in erasers plus three large 4B soft erasers. There's enough of everything to last for quite a long time, all conveniently housed in a see-through plastic case where it can be neatly kept. The metal pencil bodies are pastel-colored (rose gold, taro purple, and mint green)--which is kinda feminine, but macho he-men will like these solid, well-made pencils, too. And all this comes at a bargain price! This set is also available with the thicker 0.7mm lead size--but my personal preference is definitely for the 0.5mm type, which makes it very easy to produce sharper, finer lines. My only nit-pick is that the pencil bodies only hold a couple of leads, unlike other (plastic-bodied) brands that can hold up to a dozen or so--but I consider this a very minor issue.

These metal mechanical pencils come in a very nice plastic case, there is a spot in the case for each item. There are three pencils and they are of very nice quality and have a good feel. It comes with extra erasers which go on the end of the pencils and then there are three larger erasers. Ther eare plenty of leads included to keep you going with the pencils for a long time. A few of the leads were broken, but I like that they included so many in smaller containers making it easy to take with you or throw in your briefcase. Overall I am very impressed and will buy again (but it will take a long time to get through this set).

These are the best quality mechanical pencils I think I've ever seen - cheap plastic junk they aren't. The pencils themselves are machined from metal - I would have guessed aluminum, the description says they are brass, but they don't look it as they are unusual (and quite attractive) pastel colors. You use them in the standard way you'd expect - click the button on the back to get more lead, pull the back cover off to expose a small eraser, or remove the eraser to load in more lead. Speaking of more lead, you get A LOT - there are six (s) cases each containing 60 more lead sticks. Unless you are a draftsman, this could last your entire lifetime if you don't lose it somewhere along the way. You also get a small tube with replacement erasers, as well as three standalone block erasers for when the little one in the pencil isn't enough. Last, all of the above is contained in a custom-sized latching plastic case to keep all the various bits and pieces in one place. Yes, these pencils cost a bit more than normal mechanical pencils, and a lot more than standard No. 2s, but they look classy, write great, and, if you are careful, will serve you well forever.

This is a good set of mechanical pencils. The kit comes complete with 0.5mm lead, replacement erasers, and three pencils in fun colors. The knurling on the pencils are comfortable on the fingers, even for an extended period of time. I used it to write a couple pages of text as a test and it felt great. One cool feature is the metal nib retracts into the shaft. This could be helpful and save it from damage from accidental drops. It took a little time to figure out the right pressure to avoid snapping the lead while writing. Its different than my regular brand of choice, though not unmanageable.
