I can not attest to the durability, as I have only had these for a week. They seem exceptional well built for the price point and feel fluid in the hand. They work flawlessly. I like the long lead supplied although a bit soft. The 1.3 millimeter diameter is big, and would work better with a harder graphite. I am used to a .9 diameter pencil. I would definitely buy again!

This pencil set was for my husband, who's getting back to his original art skills after letting them slide in favor of exploring everything in digital photography. Since he's recently been looking at what I call "pencil porn" online, I suggested that he check out ZeeBooth's selection, & he was not disappointed! He loves everything about this mechanical pencil set--he says it's a great value, with excellent quality pencils, lots of leads & erasers, plus the handy carrying case keeps it all stored safely. He's really enjoying revisiting his drawing talents, so I have a happy hubby who's busy in his office room while I get to watch whatever I want on our big TV! This is the perfect Mechanical Pencil I have ever had. It's heavy and feels solid. The lead is thick so I don't have to worry about breaking the lead when I write. I know I have a heavy hand and that's why this one works for me.

This mechanical pencil 1.3 is a very nice writing instrument. The lead is smooth, thick, and dark. It is good for general writing or for specific tasks that require a bold line. The weight is a little heavy but comfortable. I like the little case that comes with the purchase. The case storage box that contains backup supplies for the pencil such as extra leads and erasers. Great price. Great mechanical pencil.

Ok, so I first bought a rite in the rain pencil, and absolutely loved it. Because of that, when I saw these I decided to try them as well. I can't tell any difference between the two. They are very nice. I don't write in the rain or anything like that, I use them for carpentry and woodworking projects. They leave a nice thin precise line, and it's dark enough to see easily. They are very durable, I built 4 8' tall bookcases and didn't break lead one time. The holders are very high quality feeling, and the price is great on this set. If you are tired of having to use carpentry pencils with horses leg sized lead because normal mechanical pencils break too easily, give these a try. You won't be disappointed.
