Wish I had found out about them sooner. I learned about them through my son and they really do work great. Come with plenty of standard lead as well as multicolored that works good for marking on metal. Great bang for your buck. Seems to be a high-quality, Ive been using them repeatedly on multiple projects.

TONS of refills that will probably last me forever. Love the tactile feel. Seems sturdy and sharpens well. Great marking tools.

I have another mechanical pencil its worked fine I do have to load up the lead and it doesnt sharpen but its its good what I love about this pencil is a come sharpened on the other end it has a sharpener that comes out and you can put it back in the top Its very accurate and the lead last a long time it also comes with yellow and red availability which was great when were working on tile floors are metal etc. cant recommend enough and the value is really good

I've been using carpenter's pencils and various markers for years. For fine work, I use mechanical drafting pencils. I bought these since I was doing an exposed timber framing project and needed something I could clearly see and still have accuracy. These pencil holders work great and I love the built-in sharpener. One con is the sharpener blade is hit or miss if it will put a nice point without having to tilt the pencil. I fought with one of them until I realized the sharpener in the 2nd holder worked perfectly. They give you a couple extra sharpeners, so it worked out.

This is a good pencil if you intend to use it at a desk or on a drawing board where you dont need a protective case or portability of the sharpener. It would not be the best choice for a tradesman moving around a job site. The reason is the availability of the sharpener. The sharpener in this model is contained within the screwable end cap. Unscrewing and removing the end cap each time you sharpen the tip of the pencil is onerous and time consuming, so the manufacturer provides an extra cap with sharpener that you can carry around as a separate object to sharpen without screwing/unscrewing the end cap. This works well at a desk or drawing board. If you need a protective carrying case with a sharpener more conveniently placed, you need to look elsewhere. I use mine primarily at a drawing board and like them. I tried them in my wood shop where I was less satisfied. I kept these for use at my board but bought another model with a better designed sharpener for my shop.
