Never had a dish rag/cleaning cloth quite like this. It is not absorbent at all (maybe barely absorbent). It does a good job of picking up solid or dried up messes and then rinses out easily. I thought it would be better at taking out baked-on messes but not really the case. It doesn't scratch as advertised, so that's a positive.

I decided to try these Niveaya Metal Rags because they have the metal mesh on both sides. L I had ordered another set similar to these but they had cloth on one side and the metal mesh on the other. Actually, Ive decide that both types have their place, but the thing that I prefer about these Niveaya rags is that they are so easy to rinse and release the food residue from cleaning, meaning you dont have to worry about bacteria and odors. These rags clean dishes, pots and pans with very little effort. They are very durable and hold up well even after doing some heavy duty cleaning on several of my pots. The rags did not scratch my stainless steel or ceramic pans. These are a good value for the money.

These work fantastic! Last an EXTREMELY long time. Can be washed in the washing machine. And they havent scratched anything Ive used them on. Awesome product. This package will last a very long time! WAY better than S.O.S. pads. These do NOT rust!

...no more stinky dish cloths for me! After washing dishes, I always rinse and hang my dish cloth up to dry. Somehow, though, the next day when I take it down to use, there was always a stinky smell. (Is it only me?) Then I saw these Multipurpose Dishwashing Rags and decided to get some to see how they worked. I'm so glad I did! They work really well on my day-to-day dishes. No scratching, not stiff or pokey. When I'm done using them, I just rinse well and hang it up. I haven't burned anything yet (ha-ha!) so I don't know how effective they will be on burned on food. I'm guessing from what I'm seeing and feeling that they will do a good job at removing stuck on/burned on food. I'm very happy with them. My dish cloths are still in the drawer, and I do use them for wiping down counters, etc. But as for my daily dish washing escapades, these are now my go-to buddies. Added bonus: Smaller size, easy to lie flat to store in the drawer.
