The first one arrived broken, but was quickly and efficiently replaced by one that made it in one piece. Packaging could definitely have been better. The board itself however, is awesome! I measured the circles. The measurement shown is the wrist size, and the grove is a bit bigger than that so that the bracelets are comfortable on a given wrist size. The grooves are wide enough to hold larger beads if you want. There's a depression in the center of each circle to hold things like charms, or clasps. As for the construction of the board, I was pleased to notice that it was sanded smooth even in the groves. There were no splinters to be found, which is good if you're trying to pick up small bracelet parts.

This is a very handy organizer for making bracelets. Most of the bracelet diameters are too big for the target market of brecelet wearers (small kids and women). Otherwise, it is good for organizing the beads prior to threading them on to the strings/cords. Very handy.

This beading board is incredibly useful. No more guessing about sizing, having to try everything on, or using a ruler. Each round is clearly marked for bracelet size and seems very accurate. I love that I can lay out my beads in a round and plan out my design. It really is a time saver. In addition, each round has a depression in it that can hold small beads or spacers while you are working. There is also a trough and ruler measurement on the bottom. The board is very sturdy and seems extremely durable. I like the size because it is large enough to work on but not ungainly or a pain to store. This beading board has made my handcrafted jewelry making easier and more enjoyable. There is absolutely nothing that I don't like about it. Wish I had bought it long ago. Excellent buy. I ordered a set of bead boards in the past and the one complaint I had about those was that they were all the same circumferences. I'm not an octopus so I don't need four boards that are the same. I only make one bracelet at a time. What I did need was a bead board with a variety of wrist sizes, so I was super excited to come across this board. And it does not disappoint. Sometimes it's the little things, you know? It's sooo much easier to see how a bracelet pattern is going to look if it's actually round like it will be on the wrist. This board not only provides that, but it provides it in six different size bracelets which covers the range of bracelet sizes I make. I also love that the bead board is an all-in-one. I only have to grab the one board and I'm good. It's made of bamboo that is not only solidly constructed but is lightweight which is great for when I take my jewelry making on the go. Unlike the other bead boards I ordered, this is also nicely finished bamboo with no rough edges, including within the indentations so the beads fall nicely into place. I also love the straight line indentations with the accompanying detailed ruler, another great planning tool. It eliminates the need to carry a separate ruler for measuring out my elastic and it goes to 9 1/2 inches in case I need to measure a bracelet longer than the largest round of 8. Not only does this help with design planning but it also keeps the beads from rolling off my work surface, another big plus. The overall size of the bead board is 7 1/2 x 10, less than the size of a standard piece of paper, again making it great for travel like when I take my jewelry making to shows. The measurements are all in inches, no metric, in case that is a concern. At $10, this is absolutely worth it for easier design and planning of bracelets. I'd pay twice as much for this. Highly recommend!
