Never Works, except when you don't need it

I have never owned a more frustrating piece of technology. The concept of this device is very good and when it works, it is excellent. The problem is, it has never ever worked when I truly needed it too. I'm either unable to press the sign button in the app, or we have is not find the device, even when I'm holding it in my hand. I did communicate with customer service about this, but they're very vague about having a fix for their product. If they don't have a fix for this bug, don't release your product. And I need to find my wallet or keys, I'm usually stressed out enough and don't need to be dealing with an app that doesn't work.

Only lasted 6 months. Good concept but horrible implementation so did not last.

This looked good at first. But it only lasted about 6 months. The biggest problem is a confusing app. I do not know if the device ran out of power and would not charge, or if the app just was not working. When you activate the app to search for keys, there is no "search" button. Apparently you should know that it is searching. However, the app does not find the device, a button to mark the device as lost comes up. The "MARK AS LOST" BUTTON IS NOT TO BE USED TO SEARCH FOR LOST ITEMS. IF YOU PRESS IT, YOU MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO USE YOUR DEVICE AGAIN. The "mark as lost" button disables your device so you cannot search for the device again. I cannot contemplate why one would ever have a feature to permanently disable the device, much less without a warning.

Works OK to find my keys when in the same vecenity of them.

Location updates extramly infrequently. Battery life is longer than expected. I am at 64% and have owned it about a month.

Bought 2 and they stopped working within less than a year!

At first I had issues with pairing. I read the instructions but it was confusing. You have to download the app first with your bluetooth on. I was trying to pair it externally with my blue tooth settings but it wouldn't work. You have to download the app and connect the the aiko finder through the app. Took me a couple hours of frustration to figure that out. Issue #2- You have to turn on the app so it can run in the background or else it doesn't work. Every time you restart your phone you need to turn on the app or else it doesn't work. Issue#3- If you try to use the finder to find your phone with headphones on it will ring, but through your headphones which is very silent. Issue#4- I recently left my keys at home and went out of state. It stated that the keys was where i was last at which i knew that was keys was at home in another state which leads me to question if the gps located is accurate at all. Issue#5- when i try to use my phone to get my keys to ring it doesn't work for more that half the time. I have to keep restarting my phone and in most cases I would find my keys before trying to constantly restart my phone or the application In theory this is nice to have but it is still buggy. I can't recommend this to people yet. I hope the next version all these issues are fixed. On the rare occasions that it does work it is nice to have. #Update after a year Bought 2 of these. Both do not hold a charge within a year. Both are broken.

This thing is just kinda perfect

It's kinda just an awesome key finder even if you don't think you will need it. PROS: it's thin (pretty small all the way around, but super thing) rechargeable - the battery will last for months with at least my regular use, just bumping it a couple times a week affordability - it's regularly cheaper than a tile and you can buy them one at a time can be used for other purposes CONS: easy to hit the button when keys are in pocket (not sure if it's always a con) it adds a slight bulk to a keychain (any tracker will pretty much always do this to some degree) It's hard to say there's anything wrong with getting this. I was a beta tester and did get it for free. I'm not the type to usually lose my keys, but one time is all it took to have myself saying it's probably worth happening. I got home from a work trip, had my keys in my backpack, left my backpack on the airport shuttle bus. I'm glad I was able to see where I had lost contact with it, made it easy to call the parking company and have them hold my bag til I could get back. I never thought I would be the one to have that kind of story to tell, but because it happened, I'm glad to have one.
