For something that looks so bland I highly recommend this product. I recently had an incident that proved their worth. I take a friend of mine shopping every other week and the Monday before the weekend that we were to go shopping I started noticing a smell in my car that I had never had before. I looked all around under the front seats and in the back seat area. By Wednesday morning the smell was starting to get pretty strong so when I was packing up to go to work I decided to look in the back of my car. I never put anything in the back. We keep that for my friends groceries and other things she gets on our shopping trips. I opened the back and there was a full back of frozen dinners that she had forgotten. I took them directly to the garbage and I had just received my order of Bamboo Charcoal Bags and I threw on in the back. When I went home that night the smell was completely gone. Thank you so much. I ordered another batch of bags.

These come nicely packed and seem to be made well; durable. I think theyre helping, like I stated in the Title but, Im not sure how much. I have 1 in the Bathroom, 2 on the top Vent of the Litter Box, etc. Anyway, I have them spread around and I believe theyre helping. I wish I could say theyre like Magic but, I cant. I can say that Ive used Coal for many years because it has many other benefits and Im glad I got it but, Im sorry to say, only bought it because I was Denied the ability to purchase the Air System I wanted and know it works perfectly, because of some State Codes. Well, Coal it is! Haha! I think Im going to heat them up a bit (Like it says to do once a Month by putting it in the Sun) to refresh them and I think they should be better.

Ordered these for my bedroom & main living room. My 2 small dogs have been urinating on the carpet since they were pups, and now that they are older, they do it twice as much. On warm muggy days the odor was pretty strong. I have a litter box in my bedroom that 2 cats share. The odor could get pretty intense on a very active day. I placed 2 in each room, and one in the side living room where I have a rabbit cage. The difference was noticeable by day 3. No more urine smell in the living room. Smells clean. My mother was amazed! My bedroom no longer smells like a litter box on active days. They actually work so well that my candle in my bedroom that I might before bed doesn't even get a chance to linger it's scent before I'm falling asleep! I highly recommend these. They also had no scent on them when they arrived. I could smell nothing from them.

Ordered to try the product which was at a reasonable price. 5x200g bags x 4 = 1000 g of product, charcoal is supposed sealed in individual linen, burlap-type bags. Had it for over a week and it doesn't seem to be working. Have 1 in the car with minor improvements while the other 4 are kept in the apartment, 2 in separate closets and 2 in the bedroom. All rooms have been cleaned beforehand. It's a relatively newly refurbished apartment but management used to much glue for the fake wood flooring. Airing out and keeping the floors clean as often as possible will only do so much to rid the sweet smell away. Update: It doesn't help much in cleaning up the air for large rooms but helps somewhat for smaller rooms/places. I've used 2 bags in a large closets along with a box of baking soda and used 1 bag in a car but that takes longer to air out. Remember to clean up the rooms and cleaning out your vehicle you want to use the charcoal bags in. It'll make airing out simpler. No charcoal bag is going to help air out a 'dirty' room or vehicle! Update: Price dropped from ~$20 to ~$19. The charcoals seem to hold up as it's still relatively 'full' and chunky. Hopefully it won't break down like another brands' bags by becoming softer like it's filled with powder when it starts to break up inside. The performance of the charcoal appears to still be working. Many companies have stated in their descriptions that their activated charcoal bags can last up to 2 years, at least with good care like reactivating the charcoals by drying it and heating it under the sun. Do it every so often to reactivate the charcoal and it should last longer.

I was feeling like the house was a combination of stuffy and too many other scents from essential oils, air fresheners, etc. I just really wanted to neutralize everything. I ordered this 5 pack of bags and also a single larger one because we have a huge walk in closet in our master. I placed the big one in the master and initially used the five from this pack for other closets, including linen closets. I have recharged them in the sunshine and placed them in drawers where I stored candles and couldn't get rid of the fragrance, hung one in the laundry room, and also placed them near the dog beds. I wanted to see if they were really working before coming back to get more. I am impressed by these. The linen closets are fresh as can be, as is our master closet. I won't say that it has completely eliminated the candle scents in the drawers, but it has certainly taken it down several notches. I am hoping that with more recharging and time that it will eventually rid us of that smell. I am going to get one more large one to place somewhere in the master bath as well. You do need to recharge and be patient. Don't expect immediate results.
