This Omega-3 supplement is the more available form ,(rTG) , re-esterified triglyceride form of omega-3 fatty acids . From what I have read, this form is more absorbable than other forms of Omega-3 s . I am very pleased to have found this fish-free , ethical and sustainable Omega-3 /DHA supplement . Refrigeration is not necessary unless you intend to store it for more than a few months . This is a two month supply.

Very valuable to me as a vegetarian (trending towards veganism). Completely pleased with product.

I intermittently take omega-3 as fish oil. The main thing I dislike about those pills is the large size to swallow and the fishy burps that follow. These vegan omega-3 pills are a relief on both counts! Smaller size, and far fewer burps (with only the vaguest fishy smell). I did not notice any negative effects from these pills at all. I definitely prefer these to the brand I was previously taking. The only (minor) negative thing I can say is that it comes in a big bottle that is only about one-quarter full; thats a bit of a head-scratcher, as they could have saved me some space on my shelf.

My biggest issue with fish oil is the fish burps, thankfully with this plant-based alternative, those are not present! These gel caps are smaller and rounder than the long jumbo fish oil ones I used to take, but about the same DHA which is appreciated. I also appreciate the 3rd party testing / IFOS 5 star certification. The value is a bit questionable but it seems like a relatively high-quality product so sometimes you get what you pay for. I would probably switch back to an omega 3 supplement that had about 2x the DHA and EPA in it though, since this is on the lower side per serving.
