Good value compared to local stores. It does seem to cause the volume to drop, but might not sure why.

The item works great. Very happy so far.

These are excellent splitters, that work just as they should. I saw there was a negative review that indicated that the female ends were far too tight. While I agree that they are tight, I think that's a positive. It means the connection should be a good, solid connection. I had no trouble whatsoever inserting and removing headphone male ends from this product's female ends. One thing I really like about these, and the reason I purchased them, is that because of the design, they should be easy to use with, say, a phone in its case. I had another splitter that these are replacing, and I could not insert that one completely without removing the phone from the case. With these, that is no problem at all.
