This spirulina is very rich in color, its like a deep emerald green, honestly its beautiful. I mixed this into a smoothie and it tasted interesting, there is a fishy taste but it isn't very noticeable when you mix with other fruits and flavors. There were some clumps at the bottom of the smoothie, so the powder might not mix all the way through. It could also get a bit messy as the powder is extremely fine, it'll get on your hands when scooping out the teaspoon measurement. I will definitely try this when baking.

Your body will tell you that this is QUALITY Spirulina. I can see some added muscle without even working out. However, it does have a stronger taste than the spirulina I have purchased from other companies. However, the competitor brands are flat, tasteless, and worthless. THIS is the stuff.

This spirulina has many health benefits. I put it in my daily superfood smoothies. The flavor doesn't detract from the smoothie flavor but powers it up with great extra nutrition. Recommended.

I ordered this spirulina powder in November 2023, and it arrived in a sealed resealable lightproof bag with an expiration date of November 2026. I find if you open the bag slowly, less powder escapes from the bag. The powder is very fine, like the consistency of powdered sugar, and sourced from India. The packager claims it is vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, GMP, BPA-free, and non-GMO. I tried this in smoothies and used the recommended 1 teaspoon. I could taste it (a mild vegetable and seaweed taste), and it turned my smoothie dark green. Some of it did not blend well, so in the future I plan to add it first with a bit of water and shake that up before adding other ingredients and blending. Spirulina is purported to have a number of benefits, but as always, you should consult your doctor before taking any supplement.

I dont drink smoothies, probably the typical way to get a daily dose (or periodic dose) of Spirulina. This is ground into a very fine powder, probably with intention of smoothies being typical. I eat a primarily plant-based diet and like to introduce as much diversity into this diet as possible. Adding new foods => great. I read about Spirulina and general health benefits and took an opportunity to try some. I have used it twice now; once with a Quinoa and Kale recipe, and again with a Lentil and Chard recipe. I simply add some powdered Spirulina; I am not cooking with it but adding at the end. Considering the bitterness of leafy greens, Spirulina is relatively neutral. I am unlikely to eat it daily but will simply introduce as part of a normal plant-based diet.
