The reviewer that says this will protect your drone from water, collisions, and drops i dont think is quite right. This is not at all water proof, and while it does have a case that isnt fully soft, I also wouldnt call it hard enough to prevent damage in collisions. But that being said its a nice and cost effective option for most people. It will protect your drone from drops that are not crazy high, maybe under 6 feet. And since each item has its own place and is surrounded by foam it would absorb most of the shock from dropping so it shouldnt damage anything inside. Overall I personally dont think its a bad option at all for the price, but to be fair there are ones that protect better out there, they are just much more expensive.

This is actually my third case for my DJI Mini 2, not counting the carry bag it came with. My first is very similar to this but sized just for the drone itself. That's the one I use when I need to stash it in my travel backpack or backpacking pack and I'm carrying the controller and batteries separately. The other one is a briefcase-sized hard case that fits ALL of my gear and has a very high level of protection. This one falls somewhere between those two and is a good intermediate case. It's rigid enough to provide protection from normal bumps and drops and carries everything needed for more than an hour of flying. My Mini 2 is dear to me - I've put many hours and miles on it, and I've flown it on three continents and protecting it on my travels is critical. This case looks like it'll be a great addition to my kit.

Overall i really like it, - the fact that it's cheaper than an OEM one makes my happy, and it holds everything in one place, seems sturdy enough and about the right size to chuck in my backpack/take on a plane NP. Currently holding the standard stuff for a DJI mini 2 SE plus 2 additional batteries, lots of cables, a mini charger and some extra propeller blades and i'm not worried about space nor protection. Soon to be holding a strap for the base as well. Recommended.

This case is a tank and will protect your drone from any water, collision or drop!
