This brightly colored leash was the first thing I went looking for when my husband got me a new puppy for Christmas. I knew with my babys tan coat I would want something that stood out as much as he does, but I also wanted something beautiful and bright. This lead was perfect. When the package arrived, I was shocked to discover that the company had sent me 2 leashes, I guess they knew something I didnt because my daughter has stolen the second one for her puppy. I love the added padding of the short handle and how well it keeps Romulus close to me when we walk, (hes currently being trained as a service dog) but then the length of the entire thing allows him some privacy when going to do his business outside. It also allows my son to be able to walk Romulus while he is walking his own dog without having to worry about the leads getting tangled or him not being able to tell whos on which lead. Romulus has learned the sound of the clip ( a strong, durable click style clip) as it hits the floor to signal its time for him to use it, but the bright colors also have allowed him to pull it out of its storage area when hes trying to tell someone he needs to be walked. Its been chewed on a bit, but the chewing hasnt affected it very much. The pup hasnt been able to just chew through it, only leaving a few pulled strings here and there as evidence that hes even been messing with it.

Perfect leash: strong, well made and colorful!

My tough girl decided to show a dog on the other side of a fence she was tough and gave her leash of 8 years the coup de grace by tearing out the handle. Liked the colors of this one and have been very pleased with it. It's firmer than I expected, but the length is perfect for us and the 2nd shorter handle comes in very handy when we're crossing streets (or keeping a tough old blind girl in check when she suspects there's another dog around that she has to show off for...) There's also a metal loop to hook bag holders on. We've been using ours for several months now and it seems very well made and the metal components seem very sturdy. I remember reading some complaints in other reviews before purchasing that people didn't like the clasp. It's a little different, but we're used to it and don't think anything of it now. The colors make me happy every time we use it. There's cushion in the handles which makes them comfortable to hold. Would definitely buy again, but expect this one to last long enough that I shouldn't have to (unless I inflict another oops/unplanned rescue on my original "oops" dog and don't want to go back to the less fancy leashes we used before ;-))

The rainbow colors are pretty, and I love the clasp that hooks onto the dog collar. Perfect clasp, and beautiful colors on the leash itself. Affordable & arrived on time. The con might just be a personal issue for me. The leash feels awkward & too wide in my hand. I think One Inch width makes have a bulky feel... I would suggest to the company to make this rainbow leash in less wide options. Like 3/4 or 5/8 width. Everything else is great, just make it less that an inch wide, so we can have a less bulky/heavy option
