These permanent paint pens are amazing for everything you could need a metallic pen for. The colors are very vibrant and have wonderful metallic specks in them. They cover up other markings very well and don't leak into other areas much. The paint is high quality and beautiful. The design of the markers is also wonderful. They sit well in your hand so you can use them for long periods of time without any discomfort. They are long lasting markers. I will order more of these if I ever need any paint markers again, as these are very good.

I've used this type of pen before and the smell was intense. Not so with these pens. There is low odor. I would say take care with getting the ink to start flowing. Gentle taps and pressure is enough to get them going. Pressing too hard can cause a flood of ink and a lot of waste. Store them flat as ink has a tendency to pool in either direction when "standing up". I use these on crafts- painted wood- for detail. The lines are crisp and dotting technique creates smooth edges. On paper, I use smooth mid weight bristol, the pens create a clean line. I don't know how well they'll work on larger areas. In addition, I have not used for any outdoor purpose. Also the "balloon dogs" that are seen in the listing photo look very shiny which is not accurate in my experience. Although the ink is metallic it has a moderate shine. Both ends of pen, fine and broad, work very well. The fine is wonderful for writing. This is a great price for 4 pens!

These pens are fantastic additions to my crafting box. They allow for precision control to add the final shiny / sparkle touches Having the dual tip -- one thin, one thick - is another benefit. Used it decorating some river rocks with the grandkids. as well as add some pin striping the a Red Rider wagon ... And after making a new mailbox stand, wife said we needed a new mailbox ... so rather than buy a new one, I tried my hand at adding a Social Distortion Skelly to the otherwise bland black mailbox ... not quite what the wife was looking for, but got compliments from the mailman! Pretty much will work on anything, and provide you with the ability to have detail / fine control of a permanent marking as a final tweak to any project / craft.

I am a fan of these paint pens. I was looking for metallic gold and silver paint pens to use for accents and none of my other paint pen sets had them in it. This set works great. You get two gold and two silver paint pens, and each one is a dual tip pen. The metallic shows up great on paper and other surfaces. If you use paper, just like with other paint pens, I doesnt necessarily bleed through the paper, but it is very noticeable on the other side of the paper so you wouldnt be able to use the other side of the paper. Taking off one star because the packaging states that they are low odor but they do have a pretty strong smell. The smell does go away or at least lessens after a few minutes, but I wouldnt consider them low odor.

They have a nice metallic sheen to them. See the test examples I wrote on the box. I love the dual side and the quality is great. Hoping they last a long time. Make sure you store them on their side so the tips don't dry out and they stay mixed better.
