This cleaner worked fairly well, it didn't break down all of the material on the outside water receptacle, but did clean up most of it. Using a pet safe cleaner in the water bowl is important, so maybe this is as good as it gets to keep it safe. It is especially nice to have the built in scrubber on the bottle. I would buy again.

This is pretty nice cleaner. I like the built in scrubber on the bottle. I'm not sure if I like it better than how I normally do dishes, which is how I've always cleaned our pet bowls, too, but I do appreciate that it was created with healthy pets in mind. The silicone scrubber is known to be more hygienic than a dish sponge, so I do appreciate that. It does what it says it does, so it is okay. There is no scent that I have detected while washing the dishes. I'm not real sure on the ingredients as I had some issues with looking up "hazel extract" due to "witch hazel extract" results coming up in abundance. I would appreciate a genus and species name to clarify the ingredient if possible. The other ingredients seem to be typical of cleaning ingredients. I do like that the ingredient list is pretty short and simple. I always rinse our pet dishes very well after washing. If I wouldn't want to eat off the dish, I wouldn't want my pet to either. While I do like the product and the convenience of having the silicone scrubber on the spray bottle, I am not certain that I would repurchase as I don't necessarily see it as superior to using what I use for our own dishes.

Anyone with water bowls or fountains knows about the slime that happens. It's gross and really it is HARD to get off. Even going through the dishwasher doesn't do it sometimes. This product works!!! Even though it's plant-based and natural, it still isn't something I want one of our cats ingesting. "Natural" can still be toxic. It rinses off really easily though, I make sure to rinse thoroughly and all is well! This cut through slime I hadn't been able to get rid of on one of our bowls no matter how hard I tried. I will definitely replace this when I've used it up!
