Just want we needed

We have a mixed breed rescue dog, Pippin who is a French bulldog and chihuahua mix, so his fur is super funny, thick around his neck and butt, however he in short hair everywhere else, so brushing him out was tricky. He seems to get mated in those areas, so doing some research I read that this rake like comb is best. They were right on the money, I can't believe the amount of clumps I was brushing out. And because the bundle came with a short hair brush as well its perfect for all of Pippin's fuzzy parts. He will be much cooler this summer and I won't have as much fuzzy stuff all over my house and clothes. I highly recommend getting these two if you have fluff like ours. Cheers

Works Great!

I wasn't expecting that much since I had tried a few brushes on my medium hair cat and none have done that great a job but I was so pleasantly surprised by these! Easy to use and comfortable for both myself and kitty. Removed tons of hair and brush is easy to clean.

Holy hair!

I ordered this for the hair brush only. I don't have a use for the matted hair removal tool. We have a corgi. The hair brush is incredible. The bristles are each coated at the tip with a latex type material, and boy do they collect hair! We have a nearly identical brush that doesn't have the same coating on the tips, and the difference in hair removal is night and day. This brush removes 3x more hair in the same amount of time. Once the brush is full of hair, simply push the plunger on the back 2 or 3 times and the hair falls off into the trash bin. The bristles on this brush are much more comfortable for the pup as well. This is the new brush. Getting rid of the old one.

Came apart the first time I used it

It does a good job when brushing through our Goldendoodle and Labradoodle, but the slicker brush came apart during the first time I used it and the silver ring around it went flying. I had to be quick to grab it away because our dog tried to eat it. The construction isn't the best and I believe needs to have tougher glue so the parts don't come apart the way they did.

A must if you have a corgi living in your house

The one that looks like a rake works unbelievably well and takes off a ton of hair with each pass. It looks like it might hurt the dog, but our corgi actually let me rake it on him for a while and it yielded a massive amount of fur. I think that this tool is best for the back and side of the dog, but maybe a little too rough for the rear parts that can get tangly. The other round headed tool is for more gentle grooming but it also pulls up a ton of fur. The best feature of all is that there is a button on the back of the head that lifts the fur off of the brush completely, so that you can get rid of it and make your next pass over the dog. I really recommend these tools to anyone who has a corgi hanging around their house.
