Easy to use, but maybe not perfect for all materials.

We got this because we have a dog that sheds and we just purchased a fabric couch. The all metal scraper seems to want to catch the material on the couch. The other scraper does work well. It catches onto the dog hair and removes it easily. It would be hard to do this over the entire couch because it does not remove a big area at a time, but it does help in between vacuums.

Must Needed

I have a cat that sleeps on my bed. This hair remover works very well and quickly removes cat hair from my bed. I find it easy to use and I recommend it.

Better than lint brush or roller

I saw a similar tool (maybe the same: couldn't tell) on an online video for K'eyush, the Malamute dog. His owner was using it to deep clean hair off of the carpet after brushing him. She also used it on his bed. I seemed to do a great job. I have shedding pets, so I thought I would give this a try. My longhair German Shepherd mix had to do an overnight stay at the vet and I wanted to send his crate bed with him for comfort. I vacuumed it but it still had hair on it. This was definitely time to try the new products. The bed was a large button pillow made out of a canvas material. I used the tool with the wooden handle. The hair just rolled off in clumps, easy to pick up and toss. It did a great job. So, before he came home, I decided to give his other beds a clean. I tried the other tool on his suede like bed. It easily got under and around the bolsters, pushing the loose hair into clumps. Much better than a lint roller. And since I could move it easily in different directions, made it easier than the lint brush. It was also easier to clean than a lint brush, which always seems to have hair left on it, no matter how hard I try to remove it all. I have not tried it yet on clothes, but I would definitely recommend this to shedding pet owners to clean pet beds, couches, etc.

Depends on what you want to use it for

These things work fantastic on rugs or cat condo things. Basically they work great on carpet type material. They did not work very well on microfiber or my woven sofa, So if you are getting it more for that type of material I think there is probably a better option out there.
