They worked on my puppy when she was 2-4 months. It kept her calm but it was sometimes a little scary-- her pupils would dilate and she'd look super doped up. She would get a little clumsy and trip over her own paws. Fast forward to yesterday. It had been maybe a month since I had given her this. She rested in the morning, but her behavior changed as the day progressed. She barked a lot more, and a lot louder, seemingly like she was seeing something that wasn't there. It happened all evening, and I want able to redirect her. She was also extra jumpy, getting scared a lot. She growled a lot too. Throwing the rest away!

We have tried all sorts of "calming" chews with no success, until now. I read an article that pointed to how good these were, but I bought them with. skeptical heart. The worst day of the year (for him) was our trial, along with his thunder-shirt, he was not freaking out all night from the fireworks. He still had a "bad" night, but overall, he did MUCH better than without.

These worked SO WELL for a while. We were using them for long car rides and they did a great job....until she stopped eating them. She's so adamant about not eating them now that we've put them in cheese and in peanut butter and she still manages to spit them out. We haven't found a replacement that works as well for calming her yet though. CBD doesn't seem to do anything. I'm hoping that we can find a good substitute.
