PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Quick Release Set Compatible with DJI OSMO Action 4/3, Gopro Hero 12/11/10, Action Cameras and Smartphones...

I've been wanting something like this for a while. Of all the previous systems I've come across, some have similar size, some have similar reliability, but none of them had a directly compatible action mount like the one included here with PGYTECH's CapLock quick release set. Additionally, the set is extra awesome for me because it includes a direct action mount AND a universal threaded mount. The whole system has a tiny footprint and seems quite robust despite being very lightweight and made mostly out of a type of plastic. My only critique is that the controls definitely feel stiff and unrefined. There's a grittiness to actuating the lock and sliding the plates in and out is difficult on my unit. That said, I'll take it as extra friction safety to avoid accidental removals or actuation, but it definitely requires more gross action than fine movement to use. It may eventually break in from repeated use, but it's very stiff out of the box.

What I like about this quick release set: 1) It allows me to mount my Action 4 anywhere where a camera can be mounted. One way to use it is to put the base on Peak Design's Camera Clip. Then I can take Action 4 off and put it on, just like what I can do for a camera. I can keep Action 4 rolling too as a chest camera while wearing it. 2) The build quality is really good. 3) The whole thing is made of quality plastic. It is very light in weight and at the same time sturdy. There is no wobbling or wiggling once mounted. I do feel that this is for small, light weight cameras as it is intended to be.

I have 4 of these and have them on my tripod, neck, backpack and car mounts. Easy. No more screwing on cameras.
