Not as wide as I thought they would be. I would have to use two (Or three) for some beads but its a good thing it comes with so many. Ive used a little over half. They are snap top not screw.

These are great little tubes for the price. I needed something that would fit over a 12.6mm glass tube to protect the tip from breaking off during shipping. These will work if I crush the end and crack the side. Otherwise they won't work. My use for them is pretty specific, so this shouldn't affect others.

NOT for seed beaders!!! If you are looking to buy tubes to store seed beads, this is not the product for you. These tubes have 2 flaws that make them completely inappropriate. #1. For 3 inch tubes, they will not hold the standard amount (10 grams) that a lot of places sell by. The will probably hold 7.5 grams, so if that is your goal, great, however, if you are buying these to hold the standard interval of 10 grams of size 11 or 15 seed beads, these will not cut it. #2 And this goes for HOLDING ANYTHING TINY, the lids of these tubes are damn near impossible to get off, once you have closed them the first time. You will have to pry so hard that you will fear tossing the tiny items across the room! And if you are a seed beader, you know what I am talking about here. These are cheaper than other 3" tubes, but you get what you pay for. It is a brittle plastic that feels like you are going to tear it apart when you take off the lids. I scratched the hell out of the one I have managed to open so far. I am immediately going to have to buy other tubes, go through the nightmare of rescuing about 50 tubes worth of seed beads from these impossible to open tubes and just toss these. That God I saw the writing on the wall early on and didn't bother wating the labels that came from the vendor on these tubes. The stickers I have put on these do NOT pull off cleanly. You end up with a gummy mess and you end up scratching the low end plastic all to hell while you try to get the rest of the sticker off. I know. I tried it. So, if you want to hold less than 8 grams of beads, and don't give a crap about getting them open again without destroying the tubes and flinging the items inside everywhere, or if you just can't afford anything else, go for it. Otherwise, just spend the money on some decent tubes.
