Remote isnt worth 5 cents. It lasted about 30 days. Look away!!!

Great remote for the price...works as it should once you match your TVs code. The remote is small and some function buttons are very small, but I have large hands and am able to operate with no problems...I would buy it again

I had an older spare Philips CD player that I switched to after faithful Sony died. Philips played well, from beginning to end,but cannot navigate on menu of CD without a remote. This remote is a smaller size and to just use for CD watching, was easy to setup. Just delighted with it. Happy watching,listening to my cheerful, fun Frasier episodes. Well worth the most reasonable price. Ps. Keep the paperwork for settings for use with many other brands & devices.

I like that the buttons are harder than the remote my Samsung TV came with. That was what I wanted to fix. But the instructions dont explain that if you are in the first menu (which controls the functions of the tv) that it will wait exactly 1 minute to move on. The exit button and the last button do not work on the tv menu. It then goes to the second menu instead of back to the program youre on, which is the app options menu. The exit and the last buttons dont work to remove the options there either and it will take another minute exactly before your program comes back. So unless you want to change something on the tv or the app youre in, Id recommend not hitting the home button at all.

I picked this universal remote control over others because it is compatible with my much older devices. This product was a lot smaller than I realized and it came with a manual and the codes for MY Electronic devices. However, the downside for this remote is the code programing was time consuming and it was frustrating trying to find out the correct code for the correct electronic device. But, once I got that figured out the functions on the remote worked correctly. Also, the other downside is itll probably get lost because its so small. Other than these two things; I would give it 5 stars because it works great with my older DVD and VCR players, and it is easy enough for my 8 year old to use.
