I got this for my mom to use daily at least for an hour as her heel was hurting her for some time and she has found this brace super helpful. Brace comes just as advertised, is really effective and easy to use!

Fine if you don't toss and turn in your bed

This foot splint is relatively comfortable to sleep in. I use it every few nights and it seems to help me. The cord that goes from the ankle to the toe can get tangled in the sheets if you toss and turn a lot.

very hard to use

--Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint, Upgraded Plantar Fasciitis Relief Braces with Massage Ball and Storage Bag for Women Men, Ankle Brace Arch Support Achilles Tendonitis Foot Drop Heel Pain Relief-- Based on photos and description I really thought this would be a great brace, but it is difficult and frustrating to fit it properly. I really like the metal plate under your foot with the arch support, however the lack of any metal brace in front seems to a contributor to its downfall as the calf strap falls and mis-aligns everything, including foot placement on the base. You have to adjust the ankle and calf straps too tightly for comfort in order to keep the top from sliding down. I also like the adjustable strap for adjusting the angle instead of a metal insert that you have to try to bend properly, but since the top strap keeps sliding down, it isn't able to work effectively. This brace also needs to have a size range on it as the arch support may not sit in the correct place for larger than 7.5M/9W.

Decent

This is my second splint like this and sadly it is not my favorite of the two. This splint works for the most part, but it feels too small for my size 10 foot. The pad that goes only the bottom of the foot is apparently designed to provide arch support, but instead fits near the ball of my foot - nowhere near the arch. This means that any intended arch support is wasted. Additionally, because of the strap that comes off the front of pad, I feel like I need to keep the pad pushed forward a little extra so the strap won't press into my toes. These gripes aside, the split works and feels effective for keeping my foot pulled back, which is something you definitely need if you suffer from plantar fasciitis. As far as the ankle part of this thing goes, I find that it fits well and is comfortable. I have no complaints about the ankle/leg portion of this. Additionally, the strap that runs from your toes and up to your shin, works well. I read another review that it didn't feel strong enough, but I disagree with that statement. The velcro strap on my splint is plenty strong to keep my foot pulled back. Overall I'm mostly satisfied with this split. It wouldn't be my first choice, but if you can get a good deal on it, I would recommend giving it a try.
