We originally bought two of these toothbrushes as my brother and I were looking for replacements to our old ones. We liked the more compact look of this brand making it easier for travel, the concealable charging port, and the twist-lock mechanism for holding the brushes. Suffice it to say, my brother's toothbrush broke within a week. Not sure why, but it just stopped! Mine has lasted just over a year, and while I found the brushing experience to be decent, the product does not hold up well over time. Applying pressure to the brush/base interface while brushing over time leads to slow bending of the support which cannot be fixed. Eventually, my brush gave out to this (the picture shown is me putting a gentle amount of pressure on the tip, and you can see how much of a gap has formed). The vibration doesn't work now unless if I put a counter force to keep the toothbrush aligned. The twist-lock mechanism, while initially thought to be a good idea, only brought anxiety over time because it felt like I would break my toothbrush when trying to replace the brush tip; if you don't change your brush tip very regularly or clean your base, residue will build up and cause it to stick, exacerbating the problem. The short of it is that there's a lot of stresses which occur at the base of this brush, and the materials and build quality just don't allow it to hold up over time, especially if you brush aggressively! Even for someone like myself who doesn't, it didn't last too long. This brush is probably a good investment as a travel brush you will use ONLY in bursts as opposed to something you use every day for years. Hope this was helpful in making a more informed choice!

I love my popsonic tootbrush. It holds a charge for over a month. And I love the fact that it's rechargeable. Great for travel also.

I have had 3 of these stop working in less than 30 days. No clue why. It was charged, button would not come on. Is put it down then later here a buzzing sound and then it would not turn off. I'm over them and ordered another type.

Worked great at first. Then it wouldnt turn off sometimes and I had plug it in to stop it running. It started to not hold a charge and had to be recharged every day. Finally, it stopped charging at all. It gets 2 stars for design and portability. Performance - 0 stars

The color is perfect, has traveling cover that matches, works perfectly, only had to charge 1 time in a month so far. My daughter is 11 and this has helped her be more consistent about brushing without being asked.
