The first impression of this portable whiteboard is that it's quite small and can only offer limited writing space. This whiteboard is so classy! It has a stylish and soft cover, and in my opinion is very well thought out. The price is reasonable and would make a great gift for a student or STEM professional. The marker has two tips: one is like a traditional fine point whiteboard marker, the other is like an ultra fine sharpie. I have never seen such a fine-tipped whiteboard marker. The two tips are compared in the photo with the heart and the smiley face. I like that that each marker cap can be posted on the other. One of the caps has a clip, so you can clip it to the inside spine of the whiteboard and it stays in place securely. It also keeps the two faces of the whiteboard from rubbing together as much in that place, which protects the writing a bit. I was concerned about the writing rubbing off and transferring between the two sides of the whiteboard when it is stowed in a backpack, laptop bag, etc. I found that it did happen, but not nearly as much as I expected. If you need to save writing on this whiteboard, it is easily easy enough to photograph before you close it up and stow it.

I've had so many paper to-do lists pile up that I knew it was time for a less cluttered, more efficient system. I've tried several whiteboards, but this one is tops: it is very lightweight & portable, closes like a notebook without smearing the writing, and can be placed in numerous positions as shown in the promotion. The cover is faux suede, so you do have to be careful not to get marker on it. The marker that's provided, as well as most other dry-erase markers, makes a clear impression that doesn't smear and easily erases when you want it to. A small cloth like that used to clean eyeglasses is provided, but I prefer to use a rag or other cloth for ease of cleaning the cloth itself. I love that the notebook has two whiteboards which aren't too large or small, so keeping notes or lists separate is easy. And you can keep them private by closing the notebook. Moreover, this notebook is very professional looking, so it's great for business use. Students, of course, will enjoy using this erasable whiteboard notebook, too. I love the practicality & functionality of this well-constructed, very attractive notebook so much that I'd give it six stars if that were possible.

I was excited about the idea of a notebook-sized whiteboard for sketching out visual ideas without wasting paper. But this is pretty cheaply made & not well thought out. The cover is oversized compared to the pretty thin whiteboards, so it doesn't fold flat, and there's nothing to hold the marker and eraser in place in the case, so they just float around in there--meaning they'll easily fall out if you carry this in a tote bag.
