These batteries are so effective and powerful that they caused my light to see through walls. I shined the light on another human being..... I saw their soul. But seriously, good value. I have them in a couple devices that create a red dot. IYKYK. If you happen to prefer a brand of German firearms and red dot accessories, these are the batteries they use. So I keep a pack in my bag or work bench. But I can't tell you about longevity because they are still going and I haven't had to use the back ups. Or did I just tell you about longevity?

These batteries offer good value for the money. As other reviewers have mentioned it, the package is hard to open (I tried with scissors, an x-acto knife and finally a utility blade). Do not worry about kids or pets opening the package and ingesting them. Buy them just for the challenge of getting them out of the wrapper. I cannot say anything about their longevity as I have just installed a couple of them a couple of months ago, but if they do not performed as they should I will revise my review.

Great value and good quality

I have a RING alarm system in my home - with many sensors for doors and windows - all of which take these batteries. Unfortunately the windows and doors the furthest away from the system seem to burn through batteries with relatively quick frequency. I mostly purchased this 20-pack to replace the seven sensors that need replacement most frequently (14 batteries) each month. They tend to last about a month, so I just assume that on the first Saturday of each month I go around and replace them all... Might get a little more time out of the much more expensive brand names but not significantly. While I worry about the environmental impact of all of these used batteries, protecting my home is actually more of a concern.

Good batteries for a good price. The manufacturing date appears on the back of the package, above and to the left of the barcode, and the front of the package says the shelf life is 5 years, so these should be good until 2029. However. Consumer Reports used to have a snarky feature called the Oyster Award, given when a product could not be extricated from its packaging without serious risk of injury to consumer, product, or both. Each battery in the 20-pack is its own little oyster, sealed individually, front and back, in tough, almost hard plastic within a compartment just big enough for the battery. Opening a compartment requires awkward maneuvering with sturdy scissors, then a little trimming to remove flesh-tearing jagged edges. I recognized that coin batteries are a fire hazard, and have resulted in serious injuries and even death in babies and pets who have swallowed them. But creating a product that cannot be utilized by the weak of hand or faint of heart seems like overkill.
