Works great for charging, have not tried data connection. Will be buying another to replace another brand that was cheaper but ended up being useless. Tested with USB PD, 9V @ 1.6A - same output both with extension and without.

Great USB-C M to F 1' extension for projects

This cable was perfect for use in a backpack with a battery pack inside and a plug-in point on the outside. Original backpack came with micro-usb and this was used to convert it to type-c.

Not quite what was advertised

This cable will meet my needs but it's not quite what was advertised. 1. The cable was 11 5/8" long (not including the metal part of the plug), not 1 foot. Fortunately, that will still work well for me. 2. The pictures suggest that a PCIe bracket and screws are included; they are not. The threads on the cable's mounting flange are for M3-0.5 screws, a common screw size used in computers that I have plenty of so no problem there. Having a PCIe bracket would would have been very handy for laying out the holes on the panel the cable's mounting flange going onto, especially since the hole spacing for the flange will vary from bracket to bracket. The hole for the connector itself can be made with a 1/8" or #30 drill bit and some filing. The holes for the mounting screws can also be made with a 1/8" or #30 drill bit. I haven't had a chance to check this for operation yet (the computer it's going into isn't available right now) but, if there is a problem, I'll report back.
