The media could not be loaded. My dog, even though shes almost four years old, behaves like a puppy and has this undying affinity for everything squeaky. It's been difficult to find her toys that squeak that she wont shred in five minutes and break the squeaker out of. I was skeptical about this but gave it a try and was pleasantly surprised! PROS EXTREMELY DURABLE: the toy is bigger than I initially thought and the rubber is very thick. I had a hard time squeezing it my hands trying to get it to squeak, so I had to actually step on it. Granted I'm five foot and all of a hundred pounds, theres some strength it takes to actually squeeze it. GOOD SHAPE FOR DOG MOUTH: the shape of it, is a little odd, and while I'm not quite sure exactly what it is supposed to be, it has the general shape of a dog bone, so it's easy for the dog to grasp in their mouth and carry around. BOTH ENDS HAVE A SQUEAKER: I'm not sure if there is only one, but I'm sure there is a squeaker mechanism in both ends of the toy so the more noise it makes. DIFFERENT TONES: it doesnt make just a single tone of a squeak and depending on how hard the dog bites and where on the toy, it tends to sound different, so it's not monotone. CONS RINSE IS BEFORE GIVING IT TO YOU DOG: theres a greasy layer on the rubber when I initially opened it from the plastic wrap. I'm not sure if that's the "scent" or "flavor" but I rinsed the toy off in just water before giving it to my dog, just to be safe. IM NOW HEARING IT IN MY SLEEP: theres phantom squeaking all over the house, everywhere I go, and I can hear it in my sleep! LOL. not really a con, but if you're easily annoyed, I would g recommend this. But my bully pup absolutely loves it! If shes ever able to destroy it, I'll definitely be getting another for her!

This PrimePets dog toy is for medium to large dogs but also perfect for our 10 pound mini dachshund. He loves to chew on it as well as art it around like a ball---but it is shaped like a NASA space capsule so it rolls in circles which drives him crazy (crazy as in a fun pet toy). It is dense and solid and therefore durable and industrial strength. My dog is never unsupervised when he has his toys (or chewies) and so far there is no dismantling of this toy. The seller's description says it is squeaky toy but there is either no squeak mechanism in this particular toy, or it may indeed be embedded but requires more jaw strength to trigger the squeak. Nonetheless, this works for the 10 pound mini weiner pup.

Our foster dog, a pitbull mix, likes nothing better than chewing on a hard, rubber toy. I get them for him because they keep him occupied for a long time, and they are good for cleaning his teeth. I got this PrimePets Squeaky Dog Chew Toy for him, and it immediately became his new favorite toy. It has a squeaker, which he loves, and lots of little nooks and crannies for him to explore. The description says it is milk flavored, but when I asked my foster dog if it was, he wouldn't answer me, so I have to take the manufacturer at their word. This is a good size for his jaws, and has held up to his chewing for over a week now. This is a solid, sturdy toy for large dogs that like to chew.

If she could type, she'd be writing the review, but I think she likes it! It comes wrapped tightly and it has some heft to it. I have a golden retriever and she's not an aggressive chewer, so I think this will last a long time. She's probably got a good 2 hours on this toy now, and no signs of wear yet.

I'm not sure why my dog lost interest so quickly. Might be because mine doesn't squeak. She rips toys apart that squeak and this one doesn't. At least the one I got doesn't. So when she gets bored, she'll play with it, but not for long periods of time.
