I bought these after years of using self adhesive clips and hooks. These are much more robust and will likely not become loose or fall. One trick to installing them is to attach double stick tape to the base to hold them in place temporarily while you fasten with the attached screws. The included screws are a little on the short side but you can easily buy longer ones.

They work great and are easy to use

Great little tie mount. They fit even in the smallest of spaces. The included screws are short and fat and are a little difficult to get started, they are not drywall screws and they try to wander a bit. Once I got use to that they worked fine. I wonder if they make them in white? I will be purchasing these again.

I've used these to attach underglow lights to the bottom of my car and to secure the respective wires underneath the car as there was literally no other way to do so. I've also used these to attach interior ambient lights inside my car. In both situations the adhesive provided with these lighting kits was completely useless, and for my car there was no way to secure lights without using these with zip ties to secure the lights in the difficult locations I needed. The only thing is that the screws these come with are really thick and are virtually impossible to get screwed into any kind of surface. I used different screws and it worked great for attaching them to where I needed. Save yourself the hassle of trying to force these overly fat screws to work and just use skinner screws instead. The best part to having a big bag of these is that you can use them on so many different projects when there's no other way to attach something. The multi-use function of these is fantastic. Speaking from much experience, as far as aftermarket work for vehicles, stay away from any form of adhesive because it will fail and will do so very quickly, making a mess and wasting a lot of your time. These are the answer to that issue.
