Excellent for long haired doggies!

I have a Bernedoodle that has such thick wavy fur it's hard to brush through with my rake brush that has short tines. I like the extra long length of the tines on the PROBUSINES Dog Dematting Comb Rake, they allow me to get all the way down to her skin as I brush so no mats are left behind. I use a slicker brush first to pull up any loose fur, and then the dematting rake in small short strokes. The handle is easy to hold and I like that it's all wood, everything is sturdy and well-made. I highly recommend this rake brush for long-haired doggies, especially doodles.

Good undercoat rake

This works well for my husky and pyr, it really gets down to their undercoat to keep it free of tangles.

He tangles and dreads up realllllllly quickly despite his fur being kept short for the hot season. It can be really difficult to keep him detangled and the longer we go between brushings the more difficult it becomes. This tool has been a great addition to the routine as it's able to get under/behind the tangles by getting closer to the skin and it makes it more efficient at getting the tangles out. We use a detangling spray to help the tines of the comb move through the fur without discomfort and that really helps as well. This comb has a great shape and is very sturdy so it makes it easier to be in control of the force applied to detangling. Big fan.

Very sturdy detangler

This is a long tooth Detangler that does a great job with matted hair. It is a very well made Detangler. The bristles are a little sharp so you do have to be careful using it. It gets the job done!

BEST de-matting comb rake because of the rotating needles!!

This is a GREAT de-matting rake comb. I found that the only de-matting combs that truly work are the ones with rotating needles, like this one. This is the only way to ensure you aren't pulling out your pet's fur. It's also very gentle, and you will be shocked by how much dead fur comes out. I also love how well-made the comb is. The bamboo is really durable, and it looks beautiful, but more importantly, it feels really good in your hand. I don't try to pull out deep knots with this tool, but when you have a little matting, it is fabulous. My Pomeranian, if not brushed daily, is prone to mats, so I really try to keep up on keeping her beautiful coat mat-free and well-groomed. This tool is the best for removing the dead fur that the brush misses. I LOVE IT, and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a fluffy-coated furry friend. You'll seriously wonder how you ever lived without it, LOL.
