This has a very light floral scent which I liked. It is a thin yellow transparent serum that when patted onto the skin, left the surface a bit tacky for 10-15 mins. but if you can wait for that absorption phase to finish, you are left with a lovely hydrated and dewy skin surface. Once absorbed, it layered well with moisturizer, sunscreen and liquid foundation. The cost is reasonable for the amount in the bottle and the effect produced.

This propolis serum from CoKor Zone is incredible at making my skin look dewy and glistening without looking oily or wet! Featuring niacinamide, propolis, and arginine, the serum itself is fragrance-free and packed with hydrating ingredients meant for the skin to soak right up. I've been using this for two weeks straight and my skin seems to look incredibly dewy instead of dull. It absorbs very quickly into the skin and doesn't feel heavy at all so it's very good for people who hate heavy feleing serums. Additionally, it has a somewhat tacky feeling to it which would make it a good grippy primer for makeup. :) At the current asking price of under $15, this is an excellent value for those who want deep hydration but a lightweight feel. Please don't treat this as a spray bottle, by the way, this is a pump bottle.

When I use cosmetics, or I should say BEFORE I use cosmetics that aren't 3rd party verified, I look at the ingredient list - I actually check ingredients list on food and supplements as well. I check the campaign for safe cosmetics or environmental working group skin deep list. The 1st thing I did before I even opened the box of CoKor Zone Propolis Glow Serum was head on over to the EWG Skin Deep searchable data base of cosmetics ingredients and look up every one of the 17 ingredients in it. I am happy to say that all but one of them received a good score- 1 is best, 10 is worst. Most were 1, which is great. One ingredient, betaine, was rated 1-4. This is only because betaine has the potential for contamination from toxic impurities. The score will be better if used in products that meet contamination restrictions. So, I determined that this product is indeed something I would be comfortable using on my skin. The $13.90 for 1.69 oz (50 ml) seems to be a very reasonable price. This product is made in Korea. It does not state whether it's made in North or South Korea. My concern was that while South Korea prevents companies from testing end products or ingredients on animals, I could not find information on the animal testing policy for North Korea. Since this product has a seal from the P and K skin Research Center, I looked up the location and it is in Seoul, which is South Korea, so I am assuming this product has not been tested on animals. It would be SO nice if more companies participated in verification from groups that do this research. In this case the The Leaping Bunny Logo l would save a lot of research by individual consumers, as would an EWG Verified seal.

Propolis is made by bees and has a lot of beneficial qualities for your skin. Its an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and a super hydrator. It also rich in antioxidants. All the good things you need for healthy skin. I have been using this for about two weeks now. I use it morning and night after cleansing but before a heavier moisturizer. It has just a slight floral scent that dissipates quickly. It absorbs quickly into my skin without leaving it feeling sticky. I got a slight sunburn over the 4th of July on my face and used this to help sooth and heal it. It really made the sunburn feel better and reduced the tightness that comes from burning your skin. I will absolutely continue to use this serum.

This serum is gentle and calming, and even seemed to tone down some redness on my cheeks. It works well both night and day, and helps keep my skin super moist. It's also non-irritating. Propolis seems to be something my skin is very happy with, so I was excited this was another good propolis product to add to my routine.
